Why then are the Lib Dems looking like gaining seats in England?

This is an extremely unpopular leader in the country at large taking a pummelling. Tory remainers have, quite clearly, flocked back in droves.

But yeah, sure, put your own stamp on it if it makes you feel important.

Labour are finished for the foreseeable future and they only have themselves to blame. To get beat by the numbers that have been predicted is pretty much the end as they stand.

    Caroline Flint.
This lass knew her electorate one of the few who voted
as her electorate voted in the referendum.

We’re going to hear the Corbynistas blame it on Brexit and the Labour Uber Remainers blaming Corbyn. Both are to blame for what looks like a terrible night for Labour. Both have taken for granted Labour’s heartlands. Sorry we couldn’t offer you a Labour Party you could trust.
Kate Hoey telling it as she predicted so Labour do still have people with credabilty.

They’re literally getting hammered to a clown who was mocked only yesterday for hiding in a fridge, but then you see one of the front benchers can’t even put on her shoes correctly so what can you expect.

Dave JC is the Leader, it is his Policy (the party has told him, even the Momentum members that Labour should support a remain policy). Irrespective of Brexit, Corbyn is absolutely politically bankrupt with the majority of the country. I couldn’t vote for a party which is lead by that person and some of his ‘gang’!

Seems a low turnout so far, across the 5 results declared.

Yet when they were on the likes of Question Time they were saying differently, they were not honest with the electorate and they have got what the deserved, if Labour had won tonigt the deal they would have brought back to the electorate would have been as near to our present situation as a present member of the EU and heres the joke then ask the UK electorate to votre against it and vote remain.

Not just Brexit Dave. It's clearly a big factor. But I've knocked on doors in trad Labour voting areas and many people said they couldn't vote for Labour with Corbyn as leader.

Labour need to clear out the members who were behind the utter stupidity of allowing Corbyn anywhere near the leadership. What on earth were they ever thinking?

Correct. It took Labour 14 years to recover from a defeat this big under Foot.
However, if Brexit turns out to be the disaster that most Remainders think it will, I doubt it will take that long for the electorate to turn against the Tories, since they are solely responsible for it.
Nevertheless, many trad Labour voters have clearly taken the risk of ten more years of hard Toryism in order to get Brexit. Time will tell whether they live to regret it, as I believe they will.

That's been clear since the day he was made leader of the party though, it surely can't be much of a shock to anyone.

Oh I think the apathy around British politics may be the potential greater reason, rather than polarising our 'young uns'.
