Problem for them is that nobody is going to go into coalition with them. Every party standing in this election and likely to get seats is fundamentally opposed to them. Even the DUP want nothing to do with them.

I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that Boris might try and cut a deal with the Lib Dems to throw them a second referendum he believes he could win in return for confidence and supply. But we’re into fantasy politics again there. Unless he does that though, it’s the end of Conservative rule for the time being in a hung parliament. Short of a Conservative working majority and there literally IS no ‘getting Brexit done’ anymore.

However you vote today, especially if Brexit is your priority, I hope you will hold the next Government to account for their promises to increase spending in key areas.

I'm buying paper, pens, rubbers and paying for toast every morning for the children in my class. My school is at breaking point. Not because of mismanagement, but purely through reductions in funding to the school. It can't go on like this.

Everything in this election should point to a new Labour parliament, cuts in public spending, being in more debt despite austerity measures, the mess with brexit, the piss take that is Boris Johnson.
Yet the polls seems to paint a very different story. We do indeed need to hold the next government accountable although very rarely if ever do they keep their promises.
What i find more important to ask is, if the polls turn out to be correct, how the hell have Labour managed to *@?$ this up. The Tories are currently like the Bismarck, mortally wounded waiting for the final salvo to be delivered. The way Labour have handled the last couple of years as a political party has been nothing short of laughable. Lets face it, if it had been up to Lord Admiral Corbyn to deliver fatal blow to the Bismarck in WW2 it would have still been afloat now.
I feel for good people like yourself swimming against the shittide trying to make a difference, maybe one day we'll all get a party we truly deserve to take this country forward.
But i very much doubt it.

Well voting Tory is the less of two bad choices, The Tories will bring about Brexit but will spend as little as possible on public services that will avoid criticism from the media,
Labour will all but bankrupt the economy with huge borrowing that will send interest rates and mortgage rates souring higher with the spectre of negative equity and homelessness and repossessions with inflation higher and higher destroying any increases in pay and benefits,
They will end up borrowing to pay back debt not services as the policy of borrowing to pay for public services starts to erode the wealth of the nation and plummets us all in to an austerity period way more harder than the one we have had,
Its a rough choice, Good Luck

Good post mate, it has to be the leader people are questioning how the hell can you as a leader of a political party be Brexit neutral, for the majority of voters the electon is all about Brexit.
There was a Labour MP trying to answer a simpe question and doing everthing but answer it "would Corbyn retaliate with our nuclear weapons if there was a nuclear strike against us from another country" these are things that shouldnt need asking they should be a duty of the goverment in power.
His past has come back to haunt him as a leader, but as you say after 10 years of austerity Loubor should have a commanding lead in the poles.

Making him leader was like hanging a millstone round their necks. He's actually made them pretty much unelectable due to being weak and indecisive, his political past coming back to haunt him. Stick someone like David Milliband in, they would find themselves in power tomorrow. Most voters don't even care for the policies, which is shameful because thats what it should be about. They just can't see past the likes of Corbyn and McDonnell.

It's almost time so make your mind up. Forget personalities, vote for policies.

Great day for a new government.

A 6,700 Labour majority to overturn in South Bradford and both the Brexit party and theTories are standing, it's going to be difficult but done my bit.

Well i voted for Brexit and today i voted Labour, no way would i vote for Conservatives, they have ruined the country with their cutbacks. Johnson is a total out and out liar, he cares not a jot for the poor, the 4 million children living in poverty, the homeless, education and the NHS. People call Corbyn but i trust him a damn site more than Johnson to sort out the problems this country has, and if it means another vote on Brexit then so be it. Another term of Conservatives will be bad news for the all of the above mentioned.

Well I wasn’t going to vote, but decided to on the principle that inept leaders shouldn’t stop me having my say.

Voted Yorkshire as I couldn’t give my vote to a major party in good faith. Maybe Yorkshire will get into double figures

Well, I didnt vote for the party with policies that would see us return to the bleak days of the mid to late 70s under Callaghan

I used my postal vote 3 weeks ago. I've never missed exercising my right to vote, despite the poor choice often being offered.

That said, I despair that so many people continue to support the two parties that have continued to let us down year after year, decade after decade. Yes, it seems we really do get the government we deserve.

My forecast: Conservatives to win a majority, with a total of 337 seats.
