Like Everton wanting Moyes back.. utter painful and pointless! Fans don't want Moyes back..

Another failing club on the pitch.. off the pitch improving massively.

    Sunderland fans hate Parky.

    Bowyer? Hmmm

That's true, but parky's brand of football is outdated and so easy to play against nowadays, that's why he's struggling.

For what it's worth, I think Bowyer's football is slightly better than parky's but my biggest issue is still playing in that manner with the technical players we have at our disposal, which Parky never really had.

They said Parky's football was outdated when he was hammering Premier League sides with cloggers.

It was a lie then and it's a lie now.

Theres a time and a place for his type of football. But it's certainly not at a club like sunderland at the top of league one.

It must have been dynamic stuff Jack Ross was playing to get him sacked, far from impressed with both games against Sunderland last season above average said as the season proved.

Agree, they were shocking. He was another negative manager which the fans up there wont tolerate without results.

I think owners/chairmen/directors look at it differently to us fans, Sunderland being a good example, they sacked Ross as they did not think he could get them up, with still plenty of games for the new man to turn it around.
Looked at managers out of work saw maybe what he did at Valley Parade and Bolton up to a point he was on a hiding to nothing there, I'm not sure he was told the truth with regards Bolton's situation, and as long as the new man steadied the ship and then winning games they and the fans would be happy.
Unfortunately for Parky and Sunderland he's not be able to do that, whether he can is up for debate, all I would add is we've seen what sacking managers does to a club after the stability we had for 6/7 seasons under Parky and Stuart.

A lot of modern football fans have developed a quite strange mentality where any loss or poor performance is automatically the managers fault, it’s not just here either it’s country wide. Now a loss means the manager is useless or negative, it’s as if they think players can’t perform poor off their own back. It was actually a mentality started by modern day owners in a quick to sack environment. It’s far cheaper and easier to sack one person I.e the manager than to get rid of multiple under performing players, and now fans have bought into this way of thinking. If Man Untied has have done that in the 80s they’d have never had the Fergie years. Managers need time it doesn’t happen over night, or after just one window. You need players who’ll play for the manager first and for most, especially in the lower leagues where there’s not as much skill so hard work and organisation gets you a long way. I’m a believer in giving managers time, unless they’re a rookie out of his depth because he was hired by an egotistical idiot.

I hated going 9/10 times when PP was in charge. For the handful of decent games, you had to sit through months of turgid football to get to that point. If I'd have been in a happier relationship at the time I would've blobbed games but it was a nice excuse to leave for the day. Mcardle to Hanson then hope for a lucky break to Wells, repeat  Thought that was the last I was going to see of that but here we are again.

He's restricting good footballers though by tactics and with square pegs in round holes. We've got the potential to have a really good side but seems more bothered about not conceding when I've not seen any team that carries a constant threat? We should be on the front foot from the off but instead seems content with coasting through to half time as long as it's 0-0 he's happy, then trying to nick one. I don't get the negative approach with the players we have on the books?

I've seen some good periods throughout watching City where success has been at a premium. Promotion under Trevor Cherry where we played some decent football although probably not old enough to really appreciate it. The nearly season under Terry Dolan was about as good as football gets, played some great football and should really have gone up. Have to go about ten years after that to when the football was decent again, wasn't too bad under Kamara but not great, but Jewell took it to another level playing the best football i've ever seen from City in that promotion season. An amazing season to stay in the premiership and then downhill from there. The Parkinson era dragged this club out of the mire it had been in for over a decade with what i would call effective football. Can't deny the success but i don't remember it like i did under the previous managers i mentioned. Only time will tell with Bowyer but so far he's steadied what was a sinking ship. He reminds of Parkinson in a lot of ways in that he could well be successful but i'm not sure the football will live long in the memory.

When you say you’ve not seen any team that carries a constant threat you’re right, and we don’t either. It’s simply because we’re all 4th division trash, I think you and others are over hyping our team if you think we can just walk over everyone 3/4-0. Vaughan’s has more shots than Doyle and Yates at Swindon FYI, so Bowyer can’t be completely shackling him. Players need to take responsibility when on the pitch.

Difference is where Vaughan is shooting from and what kind of position. I don't see Vaughan as a Mo Salah.

Bowyer is one hell of of negative manager. He doesn't allow many players to get into the box and when you look at Swindon then have at least 4 players in the box when they score.

Yes, we're in div 2 but think with Bowyer is that he hasn't proved himself since he's been here.

Well he’s missed 2 absolute sitters and a penalty so that would take him to second top scorer and we would have 2 more points which would take us to second. Our players often get into good positions in the final third and make the wrong pass or hold onto the ball to long. I’m not going to get into a debate on Bowyer been a negative manager, because I disagree and we’ll go around in circles while you copy and paste your responses.

Ha ha didn't last Saturday and see 4 midfielders with no wingers. Bowyer is one negative manager.

As for for Vaughan he missed! End of.. can't use that as examples.. sure Doyle and Yates, all forwards in football have missed a few chances this season,so stop talking bollocks as you do in most of your responses.
