Yeah I know you believe all that Dave.

What you've never explained is how you think the benefits of Brexit, assuming there are any, will outweigh the damage done by five more years of ultra capitalist Tory government.

You must have better info than Prof John Curtice! He was saying on Sunday night that the polls suggested a lead by the Tories of about 10% and that's been the case for a while now.

Enjoy it whilst you can mate, there will be all sorts of pollsters coming up with what they believe is the outcome and they have been miles off.
The weather forecast is pretty poor on Thursday Bradford is light rain all day with the possibility of a little snow, will this stop the young votes going out and casting their vote, because IMO it wont stop many older voters.

That just about sums it up Steve, we have a vote where all parties pledge to accept the will of the peoples decision, now because as you suggest the only party who will deliver brexit are Tories,in answer to your highlighted above, who's fault is that obviously nothing to do with the other parties inability to be honest with the electorate.

We are setting a precedence, no one has ever left the EU before, there are experts out there with conflicting opinions of life after brexit, I'm not sure anyone knows the exact outcome, there will no doubt be winners and losers but we can at least hold our own government responsible for those decisions and vote then out unlike the present situation where the EU make the decisions.

Ultra- capitalist is not an exaggeration. Read @Dennis@Dennis 's post above. The cabinet is rammed full of ultra free marketeers like Raab, Patel and Javid. These people are on record as wanting to abolish most protective legislation, sell off the NHS and basically take us back to pre-war unregulated dog eat dog economy. This is not wild speculation. It's what they have openly advocated.

Skipped through this thread will browse later.
As few know I'm a grumpy old man with a Prince Philip sense of humour also a retired General from Keighley.
Who do i vote for ?
Dont like either main party leaders couple of clowns. Not sure about the liberal lass seemed a bit goby. My Daughter does work in the Liberal club which is run by a L×××s fan and frequented by L×××s fans mostly old school.
Meeting up with my old work mates from Wakey in Leeds on Saturday that should be fun.
So its really irrelevant who i vote for . ‍

No surprise there. I'm sure you're very happy doffing your cap to the local bigwigs.
But it's not you that'll suffer when they totally deregulate the economy. It's the younger generations who'll have to live with the damage.

So you're prepared to risk the certain damage that the Tories will continue to do on the off chance that Brexit might eventually work out ok, if we're lucky.
I've seen nothing that indicates that Brexit will do anything but make a bad situation much worse. I'm financially comfortable, so it won't hurt me. But it's certainly not a risk I'd want take with my kids' and future grandkids' futures. And funnily enough, my kids and all their friends feel exactly the same.

As I posted Steve I have no option because the other parties don't offer Brexit, unfortunately it is as simple as that, so maybe before we put all the blame at the Tory we need to ask the other party leaders why they back tracked on the pledge of the outcome of the referendum.
We've debated the issue regarding friends and family before the actual vote, and I said to you not once had I heard anyone say they were voting remain.
I'm lucky as yourself Steve financially my family are OK .not sure with Corbyn in power our finances will not take a dip, I have a decision to make before Thursday vote, much of my portfolio is finance based and Corbyn is implying/saying the likes of the banks are going to get a windfall tax if they get in, this will not only effect individual share holders but the likes of pension funds.

Thats why ive always said you are a conspiracy theorist and a gullible easily led person with low intellect. The hospital said that this is true, the account which you lot believed over media outlets that arent allowed to lie was hacked. It wasnt even a NURSE!!

You will stoop to ANY level to defend this situation, behaviour, governance of our country. Despite what you think we ALL deserve better and if we ALL admit it maybe we will get it.

Come on!! what a sweeping generalisation. How about the old fogies will not make it to the polling stations because they will slip on the ice? or because they have to sit at home and guard all the gold they stole and hoarded from the next generation.

Yes, we are setting a precedent so far as leaving the largest trading bloc in the world because nobody has ever done that previously. In fact, nobody not one single country has ever left an established trading bloc. Every other country in the world has instead joined their local trading bloc. Why? For the simple reason that it brings relative prosperity to the country. And we believe, sorry hope that by leaving our local trading bloc we can improve our prosperity. It doesn't work like that .. unless you believe every other country in the world got it wrong.

There isn't one respectable economic forecasting unit in the world who believes the UK will be better off in leaving the EU. They might disagree on the extent of the impact but they all agree that the UK will be worse off compared with staying in the EU. Only one - Prof Mimford's group - has forecast we might be better off but only if we unilaterally reduce our import tariffs to zero. Unfortunately they recognise that that would destroy the rest of UK's motor, pharma, aerospace etc manufacturing industries and most of the agricultural sector to boot.

That's a huge price to pay for a blue passport. Most of the country will be losers. The few winners will be those who have squirreled their wealth away in the UKs tax havens and once we leave the EU will stay beyond the reach of HMRC. That's great news for the likes of Green, Moulton, Martin, Bamford, Dyson etc who support Brexit for their own personal tax avoidance, no, tax evasion reasons.
