I get your point but if you're thinking he'll be much of an upgrade on devine or anderson I think you'll be disappointed.

I'm not a lover of what other teams fans think or say, you only have to see some of the comments on here , I take your point, but as I've posted so far Bowyer hasn't made a poor signing IMO this season ?.

 

OK you lads have me there but lets wait and see how the season pans out he may be required at some time but yes not the best so far.

He isn't that good and it just makes offering Anderson & Devine new contracts seem more foolish.

Did Taylor play in the second half of the Liverpool friendly?

 

Not knocking. Just asking someone to confirm if it's the same guy I saw play for us during pre-season. Also stated the reason he might have looked not very good - lack of match fitness. If it is the same lad, hope he's been training.
With regards to Bowyers signings - I'd say Anderson is a bad un (he signed his contract), and I don't think Henley or Longridge are much cop either, but on the whole, I think he's an excellent recruiter, so I hope this latest one comes up trumps

Footnote: I wrote this before reading the posts after your response. Others seem to confirm that Anderson and Longridge aren't much cop.

 

To be fair he was decent in that game all considering.

 

Seems to have the same ability Cullen did, which was to improve whoever played along side him as well. Palmer and Akpans best form has been along side Cooke.

 

I dont think this is a bad signing as its only short term.If he does get fit and plays as cover for the injured midfielders and plays well . We will have the option of extending his contract to the end of the season.

 

Seems an okay back up to me. Played under Bowyer twice before at Blackburn and Blackpool, so Bowyer will know all about and must trust him to come in and do a job.

If I recall, he was steady enough against Liverpool.

 

Seem to remember him playing for millwall against us in playoffs semi other year. When fit better than anderson that's for sure.wauldnt listen to wat Bolton fans have to say very bitter bunch at min ha. Said the same about donaldson
