Protecting its member states? Last time i looked a lot of them were in financial straits. I get the idealogy behind being in a big club, seems a fair few countries don’t get these benefits.

 

We have politicians who can’t deal with a one stage process let alone a two stage process. The problem with all this is leave did turn out to be the choice of a two step process it simply would not be allowed to happen just like the current situation. And to me if the two leave option peecentages add up to more than the remain percentage then remain are the ones to drop out because its then clear the majority want to leave, that then is a fight out between leave no deal and leave deal, which ironically is what we have in the first place. Just don’t have good enough politicians to carry it out.

No I'm not privy to government papers, won't be the first time some one has put false documents out there to cause mischief, but I doubt the remainers would consider that could happen to make their argument stronger.

I think he'll still be PM after an election, he said the Tory party would never be forgiven for not delivering Brexit but unfortunately the situation has been taken out of his hands the the other parties undermining the referendum result.
When push comes to shove Tories voters will stick together and vote Tory again, unlike many Labour voters who see how the party has deceived them saying they would abide by the outcome of the referendum and done everything to stop that happening.
