Transfer Rumours 2019/20

Midfield is currently the biggest joke I can remember, fair enough GB is lumbered with Hopeless Akpan even though the clown decides to start him!!! But who the fk in there right mind signs Anderson, Devine and Palmer when your midfield is as bad as ours and then says we're restricted by ffp rules?? One very good midfielder instead of that dross would have been way better. This clown ain't going to last long unfortunately.

 

Cant recall anyone being upset when Palmer was signed.

Anderson is a mystery as to why he signed-presumably on drastically lower wages/squad player?

Devine Mr 5/10 I can understand though so far he hasn't progressed. Squad player

Akpan has turned out to be another Aaron McLean signing. Get rid.

Cooke and Devitt look to have added some guile and forward thinking play to the team.

Dont forget Ismail is still out and Wood has played really well at left midfield.

Scannell has been the biggest let down for me, though he is clearly only 90% fit.

 

Maybe Bowyer waiting for Bury and Bolton to go bust so we can sign Bunn and Lowe.

Agree with all of this. I think Palmer will come good when he has licence to get forward, pick a pass and be creative. Hes been carrying two other donkeys in midfield thus far

Palmer was the worst one on Saturday.

 

If anyone is shit and going to hold us back this term then its Bowyer and his baffling formations and tactics.

His squad is bloated in numbers and he still wants two more!!!As for his recruitment - there's a few who look bloody awful signings so far.

Why is Bowyer getting bashed on this thread? There are 3 threads dedicated to bashing him on the first page alone, be nice to talk about some players.

Different. But different agendas will only see things one way. Blackburn fans are called the plastics by other Lancashire teams, they thought Mowbray was God’s gift and now want him sacking.

 

His record at Blackpool, with only a few hundred home fans, was superb.

 

If our fans carry on the way they are we will be known as the plastics of West Yorkshire by other local clubs.

 

Thought he failed when I look back at his record and time there myself.

Praise because of the owner and situation but results poor with the players and money spent.

Tbf it’s take some going to beat Leeds. Huddersfield fans at my work came out of the woodwork when they hit the big time. But some of ours are no better, if we’d have won our last game and gone top of the league would these Bowyer our chats be happening with us too? If the answers no it shows how ridiculous modern fans have become that they can change opinion so drastically game to game. He won’t be going anywhere anyway we can’t afford to sack another manager, even if we end mid table which would be a big failure I don’t think Rhodes would get rid, he’s not trigger happy.

 

I don't think the calls for Bowyer Out are serious at all, and can be easily ignored as there are only maybe three or four people who've even said anything as silly.

But I'm all for the criticism Bowyer got after Saturday's fiasco - I thought he got it wrong, more so than any of our players, and he deserves the flack for the under-performance.

 

People forget Blackpool signed Cullen for 180-200k.

They'd Spearing, Cullen, Flynn, Delfouneso, Longstaff etc and he couldn't get them to the top 3. The team he had should of gone up automatically without question.

Too many draws.. and he's a bit of a bottler when it comes to managing as seen so far.
