    Part of the problem for any manager is that Doyle, Akpan, Patrick, A O'Connor, Wood and Scannell are contracted to the club.

    Even if Bowyer leaves, which he shouldn't, those players didn't disappear unfortunately.

    True, but quite clearly some of the fringe players from last season shouldn't be anywhere near the team.

    Even some of the regular starters don't deserve game time.

    Oh dear, Bowyer really is starting to like a good performer off the field but pretty lousy on it. We needed to make a fist of it tonight even if we didnt win but going down with a whimper
    Bowyer has to find a perfomance on Saturday to show everyone he knows what he is doing - I am trying to stay behind him but the doubts are growing with each passing game

    Those type of results are called upsets for a reason. Since when do we use anomolies as a benchmark?

    Personally, a hammering is exactly what I expected. Put in a lackluster display against Oldham and i'd probabaly be more concerned.

    I've heard it all now. Rupp has put his hand in his pocket already this summer. We can't bring anyone else in until people leave.
    Rupp won't have a bloody clue who Preston are either. I doubt he even knows we're playing.

    He doesnt need to. Bowyer goes to Rupp and says his back up options arent good enough. He needs to finance two new loanees.

    This mauling strengthens Bowyers case. Hardly rocket science!

    We can bring people in.....McBurnie money allowed unexpected flexibility (to a small extent), as referenced by Bowyer in his conferences recently. They’re speaking to clubs but up against other clubs for the same lads who are set to be allowed out on loan.

    Oh what do you know...!? Glad I won those tickets cos if I'd have spent £30 on that I'd have been crying in my cornflakes. So far off pace it was untrue. Again Anderson and Akpan showing just how crapthey really can be. Get that cheque book out Stefan
