    Didn't a league 2 side get to the final a few years back? Plenty of lower league sides making a decent fist of it tonight as well.

    One thing is for sure is that we are a League Two team.

    Not a Parkinson-type League Two team who can beat most teams on their day due to an ironclad format and tactics, but an actual League Two team who aren't very good.

    Really no excuse to field a poor team last time I looked clubs are meant to try win games

    Plenty of league 1 and 2 teams beating higher oposition

    Not fantastic but I think Bowyer is learning about his team every game. I won't lose sleep about losing to a good Preston team if it helps identifying what needs to change and highlights the need to finish the squad off with transfers.

    Bowyer needs to go. I don’t have any issues with getting beaten by a Championship side; that’s almost a given. But playing Doyle up front on his own is f@cking ridiculous. Did Bowyer pick his sides last season and not watch? The guy is clearly inept if he thinks it was the correct thing to do in playing this formation and Doyle as a lone striker....!

    I saw nothing from Bowyer last season and this season, with his own players, we’re worse. As I type this, we are now 4-0 down at home to a PNE XI. Embarrassing.

    Even his subs are pathetic. Two of our best 3 players tonight subbed off.....!

    Only team to concede 4 tonight so far.

    Fans will lose patience with Bowyer quickly. Awful, stubborn formation, Doyle loan striker and square pegs....

    I'm beginning to think Bowyer is a masochist. He saw a club that was on its arse due to an evil owner. He saw a club that had very discontented fans due to said owner. He saw a club with a team full of square pegs and round holes. He saw a club and thought, "right - I'm gonna enjoy this".

    He must be aroused all match with all the "mistakes" he's making.
    Thanking the fans for their massive support after each loss, is just his version of a post coital cigarette.
