It's hardly the fault of the club if a few idiots are behaving like kn*bs about it.
As for training somewhere else, that was the point I was making - if Robinson genuinely believed there was a chance he was going to be back in contention, he would be going all out to get himself fit but instead, he is choosing to go on holiday at the time every other professional football player is preparing for the forthcoming season.
Every case is different Fordy, I'm sure the club will have taken legal advice about what they can and can't do and as I said, I think they are handling the situation exactly as they should be doing.

How do you the club hasn't paid his contract up?

How do you know that the club isn't paying his wages?

If the club has told him to stay away then no wonder he's enjoying life.

If he is not changed or proven not guilty he will get a club no problem mate.

Only losers will be Bradford City

THRe longer he is not playing the number of clubs interested will reduce. If it was so easy to find another club he would have already done so and would be playing. His agent will have been sounding other teams out but obviously there is no interest while it hangs over his head

How? He's still contracted to Bradford City as we know.

As I said before many have been involved wrongly or rightly with the law and still playing football.

He will get a new club as he is under 27 and was rated highly by us.

    Anyway, let's all move on.

How? Players regularly move whilst still under contract either through a transfer fee or a negotiated exit. If he could get a club lined up now I'm sure the club would come to an agreement with him to leave.

You are correct many have but he isn't.

By the time he is free from contract at the end of this year it will be almost 24 months without any football. Not many clubs will take a risk on a player that hasn't kicked a ball for 2 years.

Mate it's been nearly a year and if not guilty or no charges against then he will be back in the City set up faster than Bolt in the 100m

We're mugging ourselves by trying to sign a sh@te player in colville because it seems we will be entitled to compo.

No way the club will want to lose money on a player that was one of our main assets before all this.

As for club offering a fee now why would they want to take on Bradford City's mess now? If he had been playing then maybe so but soon as all sorted clubs will be lining up to take him.

By time it is all sorted he won’t be a Bradford player so it makes no odds.

    Really.. you've him guilty then?

Or you know Bradford have paid his contract up.

I really don't know the in's and outs but saying silent on this one clearly isn't the answer if fans are singing silly songs.

I’ve not got him guilty or not. But when he is charged there will then be a delay until the trial which will take us to the end of season and his contract

Obviously opinion currently as he hasn’t been charged. But I’ll be surprised if he isn’t. I know people on here have different opinions and what I think will not change their mind.

    If you mean this -
"Robinson hasn't been given a squad number as yet due to on going off the field issue. When these matters are addressed the club will then decide what's happening in terms of his playing future at the club"

How does releasing a statement like that a) prevent idiots from singing songs and b) tell us anything we don't already know?

Not sure what this has to do with Rochdale or why they deserve a thumbs up.. Surely paying fans with tickets to a game abandoned at half time are entitled to a full refund. Presumably that's the two club's responsibility to facilitate somehow for home and away fans respectively. I don't disagree with the outcome but I'd suggest this has been City's suggested and preferred solution to dealing with refunds. Note it is just the away gate that is going to Derby Rimmer

I might be wrong but I thought once the game kicked off, that was it. No obligation on the host club to refund any monies.
If that is the case, then they have been exceptionally generous.

Are you having a wind up, it was a friendly the fans saw 45 minutes of football (if it can be called that on the drench pitch) it was £10 for adults and concessions for others and your seriously asking for a refund.
I thought most fans Bradford City who attended would be delighted their admission fee went to the foundation hence my .
I personally think it's a great gesture by Rochdale, although I would think Bradford City may have had a say into it as they would probably take expenses out of the gate money.

Heard on the way out about a possible refund but then saw the announcement about Darby's Foundation so didn't bother - fantastic gesture from both clubs. Was a decent first half given the conditions.
