On the telly coverage there was the LFCTV guy + Stephen Warnock and Jay Spearing, they joked that Spearing had been talking to Bowyer nudge nudge.....

 

One of the hardest videos i've had to watch, the bravery of both individuals is astounding. Not gonna lie it brought tears to my eyes. I implore everyone to watch it, you'll understand just what this game to today was all about.

Spearing and Warnock walked in together, very smartly dressed, with Bowyer and Spearing very chatty - I know they're close pals - but there were quite a few comments of sign him up and get yourself here Jay. Here's to hoping....

 

i've no issue with the charity aspect but charity match or not being happy your team concede is tinpot.

 

it happens everyday up and down the country.. people work with those diagnosed with chronic illness such as cancers, MDN, cerebral palsy, MS, etc with diagnoses of their own knowing that it's a vision into the future.

 

Getting upset at a charity match says a lot more about you than people clapping a goal at a charity match

 

Does that make it easy?

no it doesn't but like darby himself said prior to the match, there are people out there diagnosed with MND and other illnesses that unfortunately don't have the financial, emotional or familial support that he does and that's the point of fundraisers and charities - to support all.

 

why is it miserable not to want your club not to concede and not to want your own clubs fans not to celebrate when they do?

 

Why choose this game to be a WUM?

 

it's not. it's my opinion - celebrating goals against your own team whether a charity match, friendly or competitive game is poor.
