Only pulling your leg mate no offence but your source has got to be Julian Rhodes to get those sort of details, I'd be delighted if it was true.

Here are the Sky payments for 2017/18 for all PL clubs .....

    PL Sky Money 2017-18.jpg

Swansea received less than half the following season 2018/19 when they were in the Championship because at that time they were only entitled to the first year of the parachute payments, around £42 mill. Does that make sense to you?

Stefan was over last week I thought for most of the week but he only stayed 3 days, as you say it would be nice to get a bit of news from Valley Parade, then again they might be waiting for the ink to dry on the new owners contract, we live in hope.

Why are you quoting 2018/19 figures again? Thought we’d already determined that the accounts covering that period aren’t out yet?

Appreciate you giving the numbers for the season before though. They confirm that just short of £100m was paid to Swansea for the season. You say they will have gotten a around £42m from parachute money. Aren’t they also entitled to their share of the Championship money too?

Anyway, let’s take this offline. This thread is not the place for discussing how much Swansea will receive/have received

As far as Swansea go Potts was assured by the chairman if he stayed there was a good budget for new players that’s according to Talksport

He's in as the cheap option. Relatively speaking though I'm sure the budget won't be tiny. But it will be much smaller than it has been. There's no option.

I'm not sure I agree with your above comment, I dont think it is happening but would be delighted for any new owners especially if Dave Baldwin was involved, James Mason reply was more chance of bronco playing centre forward.

Nine months will have elapsed since, he came to VP. In that time he has not been able to help Notts County avoid relegation. Perhaps there are better alternatives out there?

Notts County were stuck at the bottom of the league and well behind on points when he joined them ,and lost their last game to condemn them to non league. It was his and new midfield partner Doyle that gave them their upturn in form to get them into a position where they had the chance to stay up. The County fans gave O’Brien very good reviews and want him to stay with them for the fight to come straight back up.

There won't be a takeover, Stefan Rupp is asking silly money for the club.
an offer was made, but negotiations didn't continue because of the asking price.

Julian & Mark were asking silly money but it didn't stop Rack & Ruin purchasing the club.
You have to ask how the hell did a guy who has amassed the sort of fortune Stefan has been quoted as having get conned by Rahic.

Did anyone seriously think anything else ?
He should have invested better in January, thereby (Probably) selling a League 1 Club.

Rumours about gk Doyle coming back. Don’t think he’s any better than OD to be honest.

With Swansea now managerless, whoever comes in might want to keep McBurnie. Could miss out on a windfall.

i didn't realise Tom Eaves was out of contract at Gillingham (they've offered him a new one), I'd be straight in there with an offer!
