Nobody is disputing that it's dire but it's a pattern that has been consistent throughout the season, barring the purple patch in December. You can argue all you like that it's Bowyer's fault but like others have said, most of the players had already given up before he arrived so it's no surprise what is happening now.

 

Doesn't matter how you dress it up. 7 defeats in a row is poor. Didn't think Bowyer was a good appointment and his results back it up. We had a chance of staying up when he arrived and hes spunked 21 points away.
16 players under contract in the summer and our best players are on loan and wont be coming back. We're truly up the creek.

 

All I’m saying is Bowyer should have done more with this squad . He’s putting himself under pressure already for next season.

Genuinely not sure what you expected to see, it's the worst City squad I've ever seen. The most defeats in a season since 1903 and you're complaining that GB should of done more, I can't wait for him to feed thousands with a loaf of bread and a bit of fish too.

 

Don't think anybody's dressing it up,and nobody is disputing 7 defeats in a row is poor. Where there is contention is where the finger of blame should point - you seem to think that should be towards Bowyer, I think it needs to be pointed at many more than that.

 

Not 100% sure however I know apart rom Northampton he had clauses at Walsall and Rotherham

 

It’s only fair that this shower lose the remaining games. That way they can be labelled the worst ever city side. None of them should be allowed to stay next season. Mutual consent as many of them as possible. Start with the spine. Pathetic all of them.
We should have seen this in pre season. 6-1 at Harrogate town. Said it all.

 

They already are, most losses in a season since 1903.

Almost -- don't forget (I know we'd like to!) the 30 in 2003/4 during our slide down the divisions. We could equal that mark though this season -- but this lot of failures will probably fail even to fail in record-breaking, or at least record-tying, fashion!

Let’s get this out of the way, because I am getting seriously bored with this nonsense of ‘we didn’t clap hard enough’ or we didn’t support the team enough. Total crap all of it!! The fans have been magnificent under very difficult circumstances. Worst squad assembled that I have seen. The slide to league 2 started when Rahic decided he wanted to enact his project.

Now we await to see what the aims and objectives are for the coming season, what is plan A, what is plan B.

 

Whilst not defending Wright for the season as a whole he can’t be blamed for anything he has done since he came back we are winning the midfield and very poor in both boxes
