It is not irreversible mate, it will more than likely involve our relegation to league two but the biggest factor in our clubs demise has no input into anything Bradford City any longer.

in some ways, the cheap season tickets just add to the lack of ambition within our fanbase. people are more willing to accept mediocrity or outright failure, just because tickets are cheap.
Park's posts in this thread are pretty much what I'm talking about - incandescent at the sheer thought of someone not renewing at 'just' £150.

£150 is fantastic value, and huge credit should go to the club for bringing in this pricing strategy and sticking with it, however that doesn't mean people should be expected to splash out regardless of the fayre on a Saturday afternoon. I don't blame anyone that hasn't or isn't going to renew for next season - this season simply hasn't been worth £150. you wouldn't pay £6 every other week to go to the cinema and watch a film you already know is crap.
having had your weekend ruined and getting angry isn't something you'd pay for normally, so based on this season I absolutely understand why someone wouldn't be willing to go through it all again in the league BELOW the one we're currently playing in. League football at £150 or not.

selling tickets cheap and having big gates for the level doesn't give the club a free pass, and attendances will rightly fall. you've got to give people something to keep coming back for, and at the moment they aren't.

Nah, but his shit legacy lives on through the crap that walk onto the pitch week after week. Until those spineless tw@ts are longer here his stench continues to loiter.

Maybe so Dave but Mr Rupp is still here. Whatever the mechanics of Edin, Mr Rupp was still part of the problem then.

Yes we hear that he is financing the clubs shortfall to date but I'm going to hazard a guess and suggest, he (quite rightfully) ain't doing it for the love of it and will want some, if not all, of his monies back. Even, I would suggest, when Mr Rupp no longer is associated with the football club.

I still get nervous at the lack of communication from the football club and particularly Mr Rupp. Similar to the times when Rahic was about?

The cheap season ticket offer has been going for over 10 years, not that you'll acknowledge it but Phil Parkinson and Stuart McCall got good sides that brought sucsess to the club.
The debate once again would be what effect would raising season ticket prices to similar cost that other teams charge be, less bums on seats (which is not what past or present owners want) but around the same income, against bigger crowds and potencially bigger revenue from drinks, food, programmes and merchandice.

I know that, and I aren't advocating a rise in prices, I'm just pointing out that £150 isn't that cheap when all your getting is a bad mood every week in return.

Im sure both sides of the club non-football and football will realise what the cost of keeping these players will mean unfortunatly the players are in control of their own destinies and if they want to sit on their contracts unfortunatly there is little the club can do.
Let's hope the players who are still contracted to the club but not in Bowyers plans will be told the situation and try and come to some sort of compromise, but we make them aware they are on the transfer list.

We are where we are mate, I'd much prefer Stefan to be onside than any other scenario where he walks and all that goes with walking.
I don't think you will get anything else from Stefan, Rahic was the man who was the voice of Bradford City and as we know Julian is not one for the limelight.

I'm sure he's an honourable man and wants to try and rectify the mess Richic has left ( of course if he does that should bring value back to his investment) I don't think Stefan has a cat in hell chance of recouping his outlay, if there is someone out there who is interested in Bradford City, IMO Stefan would be stupid to turn any reasonable offer down, now what Stefan might call a reasonable offer and our/new investor's valuation could be miles apart.

Stefan seems a decent guy, I'm just hoping he stops long enough to steer us away from financial ruin that is mate created.

Nobody is trying to coerce you to buy anything. You have made your decision, I just wish you would shut up about it and stop littering this board with all your negativity to everything City.

I doubt the board are going to have a re/think based on your input. They may listen to fans who have actually supported the club and bought st.

Don’t Harrogate Town have a forum? I am sure you fit better in there and will listen to your views.

Not really, I've just looked at your posts going on about how great the tickets are, and seemingly genuinely amazed that anyone wouldn't want to buy at that price.

Its the cheapest football in the whole league. Unfortunately that means nothing to fans once the whislte goes at the start of the game. Its the quality of the product that counts. Never heard a fan say ‘well we’re being relegated but look on the bright side its only £150.
Fact is football is a business. The cheap tickets is done to raise more revenue for the club. No point in cheapening your product if it isn’t to make money. And for what league 2 football is, i don’t think any club should charge more than £150 for that standard of football.
