A lot to be resolved. Reeves/Wright/Riley/Scannell wages would go a long way in L2 to give us a more balanced squad.

I don't think some people realise just what a precarious position we are in when we drop. As you said, when the loanees and short termers are gone we are left with a rag tag bunch of overpaid individuals, none of them who i care to see stay at the club. Worst squad of players put together to resemble a team i've seen in my time supporting City.

 

Cos he has only just got the job and has a good tracks record and deserves a fair crack. Stop being a big baby cos we lost yesterday and he didnt pick a team YOU wanted and get the result you thought we had a right to get.

 

And very little option of adding any sort of quality

 

Bowyer didn't help himself with his bizarre tactics and squad choices but to be fair to him he's only been here a week or two, he doesn't understand yet just how bad a squad of players he has at his disposal. Neither did all the other managers that have been here until it was too late. No manager could turn this utter shambles around, the warning signs have been there all season, fundamental problems that are impossible to fix because of what happened in pre season. I would have quite happily ended our season weeks ago as it has been inevitable we would go down as soon as February 1st came around. We are bottom for a reason, that reason it is we are the truly the worst team in the division.

 

Its a good point, the one thing that got us out of the dire khazi league after all those seasons was Nahki Wells. Without him we would never have got out of the division. I'd feel a tad better for next season if we weren't stuck with a lot of this seasons shite for next season. I don't think there is any of the contracted players that i want to see here next season.

 

Agree Bowyer probably doesnt quite realise what a bunch of has beens he has got.

Billy Clarke was turning/turned garbage when we somehow offloaded him last time so why on earth would we want to re sign him at such a critical time woth time running out. He was not gonna offer anything to the squad. And the rest that came were shocking too, thanks Hopkin.

 

His win ratio is good, especially at two clubs that were classed as basket cases during his tenures. How can he left a struggling Blackpool? He left at the beginning of the season due to off the field problems. As for not been employed for a long time, how do you know nobody wanted him? Might have been waiting for the right opportunity, he commented he'd had several offers during his period of inactivity. Could have been his own choice to wait for the right opportunity.

 

Won't be popular for posting this but can't see another option other than Mr Rupp investing millions (which I can't see happening)
Admin is the only way to completely clear the decks of deadwood giving the new owners who would be able to buy for a knock down price a completely blank canvass
Very harsh on Mr Rupp and I genuinely feel sorry for what he has been left with perhaps more due Dilligence on his business partner would have prevented this
