Yes he did. He had a really good game with Ball alongside him up front.

It was an excellent and intelligent execution, he looked up saw the goalkeeper was on the side he was going to shoot, so quickly crossed to the other side and scored.

Not only that but he battled well all game winning the ball back etc. One of his better performances. He’s in double figures now for season?

What are you going on about now? I know what constitutes a foul these days, i've been watching the game long enough. My views are on the penalty decision, i've watched it back countless times looking for anything that constitutes a 'careless' tackle in the eyes of the official. All i can see is Caddis winning the ball with a perfectly timed tackle, not dangerous, not out of control, if anything he has one leg slightly raised which he tries to pull back after winning the ball, its near physically impossible to have both feet on the floor when executing a slide tackle, one is always above the other, just like in this tackle. I've exhausted myself anyway, i'll leave you to debate this with someone who agrees with you. Good luck finding someone.

For me as Ive posted we are seeing less and less of physical contact in the modern game, letting a referee use his common sense is slowly going from the game.
When Steve Baines finished his football caree he became a referee and many a time left the player rolling about in agony to make himself look a fool rather than the referee.
Unfortunatly we see it week in week out players conning referees, many are better actors than they are footballers, and this is where our game is becoming a farce at times.
Like if or not the people who are making these decisions have never played the game at any sort of level and are making these rules that are taking great tackles out of the game. We heard when VAR was going to be introduced it woud be a quick decision yet we are seeing more and more of the rugby league situation coming into the game, it will soon be like cricket where a referee in a box askes for certain camera angles to be run through slow motion and then they don't always get it right, the PSG fiasco recently shocking call.

I made the statement to my dad at 2-0 up, we play with 2 strikers get 2 goals. Everything good for me yesterday came from the fact we had two strikers playing up front and working together, just like our run in December.

Never a penalty in a million years. Cant recall any Peterborough player appealing.
    Great tackle by Caddis.
Only surprise yesterday was the fact no one was sent off by the most incompetent of referees.

If that is a foul it's impossible to make a tackle. Same way you can't jump with your arms by your side. The opposition player was in no danger at all. If the ref followed the strict interpretation of the law which I don't think he did then the law is wrong. Bit like the handball. We say who cares. Clean sheet breeds confidence and looking at our gd every goal counts. The ref will find something in the law to support his decision but every football fan will be saying that's not a foul. That's the most important thing.

OK ........... So how come few penalties are awarded immediately following Free Kicks and Corners ............. Each side will have a couple of players challenging for the ball .......... ALL with both feet off the ground ......... ??

Can those banging on about the penalty do it on private message so the rest of us can celebrate the performance and win.

On a positive note I had £20 on City to win and both teams to score @ 9/2. Never a penalty in my eyes but I'm not complaining.

Couldn't give a dam if it was a penalty or not. The 3 points are the most important thing.

Well I've just run the penalty call through again in VLC player slow motion and I'm still questioning what Matt Donohue saw in that tackle from Cadiss, as it shows quite clearly he does not have two feet in the air, and takes the ball cleanly.

take it back a few frames and you'll see this where he does have two feet in the air. again, it doesn't matter if he takes the ball cleanly if the referee deems the tackle is careless. it's the referees interpretation of the law and the tackle in question.

if he deems caddis to have been careless and out of control or endangering his opponent, within the laws of the game he is able to give a foul.
