I'd suggest from your post that is exactly what you was implying, so I posted only City fans, you need to frequent away grounds more, I'd suggest there are another 91 football league clubs who have there share of fickle fans.

    That his win rate has never been below 30%. Three spells at Blackburn but his win rates below;

    Blackburn - GP: 4 - 75%
    Blackburn - GP: 9 - 33%
    Blackburn - GP: 118 - 34.7%
    Blackpool - GP: 115 - 36.5%

So again, based on fact you are talking waffle, unless you think that's a bad win rate???

Whatever personal qualities he has, or indeed other managers have, then at this point of the season, we are stuck with a squad that his predecessors failed to mould into a team, which could sustain a reasonable win rate. If he can get the required number of points to avoid relegation, it will be verging on a miracle.

If we go behind on Saturday, l think it will be game over, as the current squad just implode.

At Blackburn he had a very good squad for League 1 and again in League 2 with Blackpool,r egardless of the turmoil behind the scenes. We have our biggest budget in 15 years. Look where we are.

I think we're going over old ground, that Blackburn squad he had was the smallest in the Championship and nearly all their top player were injured in that season, go look it up.

The point you make about the biggest budget backs the fact up you're talking waffle, the biggest budget got us nowhere because we had a manager with no idea and obviously ER. It's all fine and dandy having a budget and a good squad but that doesn't guarantee success does it?

Not at all @Onside87@Onside87 there are several posters on the forum who take great delight in being negative or trying to get a bite, they like you are entitled to there opinion....................and others are entitled to reply, be that in a positive reply or otherwise.
I bet there were plenty of fickle Manchester United fans who at the start of last nights game thought they'd blow it at Old Trafford after being 2 - 0 down after the first leg, and they would have been entitled to that opinion as Manchester United are the first team in Champions League/European Cup history to lose at home by 2 goals in the knockout stage and go through in the 2nd leg.

The ever known is a bit of a give away. What you are indicating now is there may other fickle and apathetic fans elsewhere but you have never known others?

@Onside87@Onside87 I honestly do not see the point in berating city fans about being fickle or apathetic as I would consider it as part of the DNA of fans in the lower leagues. Your opinion about our prospects of going down are in-line with the majority of fans on this board. Obviously there are a few who are optimistic that our new manager might breath new life into the team. I very rarely quote stats as I personally don’t find them useful, others swear by them. Football is a passionate game played by human beings on grass not computer screens, and I have seen far too many scenarios when the stuff played on grass has beaten the computer screens.

I am not sure why any city fan wants to take a pop at our own fans for no other reason than being optimistic. Who knows what the future holds, we shall have to wait and see. I personally think it is a massive hill to climb, but I am always optimistic that we just might:)

Are you expecting a prize or national recognition of your
negativity if we do go down? If you care about the club
you should be hoping and supporting.Better to say I cheered
them on and we survived rather than I told you so if we go
    down.

I agree in principal with your views but regarding Bowyer, who would you want as manager? Who out there, in our current predicament, would be an exciting appointment? For me at this moment no one excites me, Bowyer is a decent acquisition at this time. Not that it makes much difference, the club has that backward moving feel to it like it did before Parkinson took charge. It was hard to motivate yourself to even go to the games and it feels like that now.

If Maddison and Tomlin are on it I fear it'll be 3 or 4, IF they have an off game and we fight for everything we'll sneak a 1-0. Praying it's the latter.

...and look where that’s gotten him - he’s been bought in to the inner circle as they know that he’s an ‘influencer’ - he’ll be in the boardroom hob nobbing it with his new mates on Saturday whilst laughing at the peasants who have to sit in their discoloured £150 shitty seats.

Thats kind of the way things are these days. People find something negative to love and then fight with a passion. When Rahic left although the neg heads were right they so loved the fact that they were right instead of feeling the impact of the fact that actually Rahic was everything and worse. Its like a neg hed badge they wear with pride.
