    Bowyer sounds like a Grayson-type appointment to me. A bit of holiday money to tie him over until the end of the season. No commitment to achieve anything.

    It’s going to take a miracle worker to save this season. We should be planning and preparing for next season whilst of course giving it all to bring about the miracle. All the focus like last season will be on if he is staying or going.

    In the current CEO position, I would offer the next Manager the terms of 'Until May, then address.'
    If with 4 games to go, there has been no improvement - I move to plan 'B' .............

    Re-Interview 2 / 3 candidates, and make my choice for 2019 / 2020, and not offer to extend any contract to the current Manager. The next Manager will (hopefully) have been assessing any progress, and see our obvious weaknesses. He then has time to PLAN ......... LONG before the end of May.

    We both know it won’t work that way. They will wait till May then procrastinate over talks before you know it June will be upon us and we bill be trailing behind others

    I hope that the official announcement is more than just 'here is the new manager'; we need a really positive statement of intent from those who run the Club.
