    Priority is to whip the players into performing to stay up. Whatever we need to address this ,whether short term or otherwise, for me..so be it.

    See I don't think it needs to be someone with long term plans. Whoever you get now is going to be from a much smaller pool of options especially as you don't know what league you will be in. So you need to think more about who for the rest of the season can bring some sense of unity, pride and happiness back to every area of the club and most importantly matches the agreed upon the identity of the club. The club then has time to look for a longer term manager that also matches that identity and they can put together a list of options no matter what league they are in. If the short term guy does well then sure his name should certainly be in the hat. If you get the behind the scenes parts improved and get the fans back fully onside its going to be an easier place for the longer term manager to come into at the end of the season

    I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins family had a say in his final decision to resign,there's more to life than work and I think he was still commuting to Scotland when he could to see them.
    If they have re located I stand corrected but his wife and family will have known how it was effecting him health wise.

    He has gone in an attempt to kick start season ticket sales, They have been dreadful and the fans have not been buying in the numbers needed, A new manager bounce in results and expectations will hopefully increase the take up of season tickets or that is the hope

    Initially, 1st couple of games, that would be the case but I'd put my mortgage on 000's coming back if he went on a run and also kept us up.

    Everywhere he goes he spends money like water. Even to the point of sanctioning illegal payments to players. He's the lower league Harry Redknapp.
    Is there any example of him taking a club without a pot to piss in and a set of mismatched under-achievers and turning them into a winning outfit?
    I honestly cannot see him wanting to come here.

    For me, the game on Sat is a game nobody would give us a chance of winning, whoever was in charge. They will get a new man in the week before a winnable home game on the 9th March. Not sure who's out there but they need to garb this bunch together and try and save the season
