"There's gonna be twists and turns before the end of the season" Haha I knew Hopkin was going to say this, he says it after every draw or defeat. We're going to be playing Bristol Rovers away in April and he's going to be going on about the twists and turns that could happen in the remaining four games of the season.

We're fecked, there's no way back, Hopkin doesn't even have the language to understand what's happening to us. Everything is about some hypothetical future after the "twists and turns" where we're not getting our ass kicked.

Also, what do we expect when we’ve got more loans on our books than Wonga- they are never going to have the fight for a relegation fight because none of them are going to be playing in league two next year.

 

The sad part about today is ever since Hopkin took over I don’t believe we have lost due to the opposition having more desire than us.
We may have lost due to having poorer players in vital positions and by employing poor tactics but in my opinion we have shown effort and desire.
However today which became probably our most important game of the season we showed less desire than a ten man team in dire form which is unforgivable.
However we are where we are and no way should we give up the ghost.In December we showed we can play we have to produce that again

Well Hopkin said he will be making changes at Pompey next week so maybe.

Well after being to Walsall for six years on the trot, I'm fecking sick of the place. Those few extra miles to Solihull next year will be much welcomed by me.

Really bad day at the office and a kick up the backside is required for some of the team.
Big big test for Hopkin and the team at Pompey next week.

 

You have to ask why that level of performance suddenly disappeared after the Barnsley game. Something is not right behind the scenes.

 

That remains a mystery to me we were going great guns in December clawing back all the lost ground then we had a weekend off because Shrewsbury were in the cup and we reverted back to pre December form

 

Because Hopkin shat himself at the sight of Barnsley, made numerous unnecessary changes, we get smashed, lose all momentum from the previous month and he hasn't been able to sort it out.

 

Problem is Keefly we as fans see we are in a real dogfight for our future and it bloody hurts us but for the vast majority of players at the club its probably just seen as the club where they will play for the remainder of this season and then they will be elsewhere irrespective of what happens or they are currently so far out of the picture that it is simply the cash cow that pays their living. Put it another way, how many of the current players, if cut open, do you think would have any claret and amber running through them - hard to think of one This together with the many other challenges the club faces behind the scenes leaves us in a bloody despondent situation - and I am not sure changing the manager again will actually solve any of the above. Depressing times

 

The problem is Park, I'm seeing December as a blip in a dreadful season rather than as a standard we have established and set for ourselves and just slipped from recently

 

Anyone who thinks the troubles have disappeared are not on this planet or Fuller's.
Trust me things are far from right down at VP and there are plenty out there who know this.
