Wish you hadn't bothered replying to Park's absolutely pathetic post. It really didn't deserve a meaningful response from anyone with more than half a brain.

 

Park will always be a bitter little fella if you reply or not he just can't get over that a group of fans helped Bradford city get rid of his beloved rahic.

DH has stated today that we will have to manage Anderson wisely with his knee injury record, and it sounded like he wasn't match fit last week. Why, oh why, are we bringing in a player if that's going to be at the back of your mind all the time. It doesn't make sense

Panic buys usually happen on the last day of the window though. I suppose we are very limited in who we can bring in until the end of the season, especially as we are maxed out with loan signings for match day squad. I would have sent back Miller though, if that was possible

Sounds like a bit of a waste of a wage to me and when you consider Woods is also injury prone, it feels like a massive gamble.

 

DH said when a new player comes in he trains with a couple of coaches to get them up to the fitness standard of his teammates. He said that they will provide the correct methods of training with his knee problems to prevent putting to much strain on them or words to that effect. Anderson couldn't train with the team until Friday due to waiting for paperwork to be completed.

 

you don't make a safe bet when desperate for cash, you chase the big odds. Thats what BCAFC are all about right now.

We seem to be becoming a club full of players that need handling with kid gloves. Maybe not something to panic about but to be concerned about? Yes.

 

The more injury prone players you have (Scannel, Mellor, Colville, Jones, Reeves, Anderson, Woods, Akpan) the more you have to be concerned. As good as players like Scannel and Colville are supposed to be they've only managed something like 20ish games between them this season. Jones and Reeves, nearly nothing for a year. Akpan and Mellor - maybe 30ish games between them!! We're like a retirement home for the injured!!

I think we can safely say that Hopkin gave some kind of ultimatum after the Gillingham match. Days later in comes Rhodes and it was from that moment on that it became apparent that Rahic was doomed. Not certain, what the impact the protests on these boards, had in comparison to that

You and the other protestors, will have had some impact - him going bringing the fans back on side is an added benefit, but it's hardly that imperative as results tend to do that, i.e. we don't hear much from Blackpool fans these days

Problem is that and it's a source of amusement to me, the 90% vehemently 'anti-Rahic' on these boards, simply wasn't reflected among the £15-20K support - most of who aren't opinionated like we are (that's why we're on here). I'd say half (at best) felt like you and the rest realise that most chairman are pretty difficult to deal with and want their own way, i.e. like Jacko having to go through Archie Christie under the Lawn/Rhodes regime

My post is not only more moderate than what the person I was replying to them wrote, i.e. look at the "beloved Rahic" comment - but bothers to put forward an argument as to why that is view is wrong

 

at least you have taken the time to respond to them. you don't bother replying my questions generally.

 

Please Ricc, I'm beginning to feel sorry for you. Park and I are tough old birds (sorry Park) who couldn't give a flying fig about whether anyone replies to our comments. Try it!!

Sorry i can't have that. That only half the fan base were 'anti-Rahic'? I'm telling you, it started off a small percentage (the ones that were privvy to what was actually going on behind the scenes and fans who were recipients of that information), by the end the vast majority (i'd say mid 90s, the last 5 or 6% were too stupid for their own good) could not wait to see the back of him.

Not sure i've ever known a man so despised at Valley Parade (not even Richmond, after all he did get most of what he set out to achieve right), the fact he got so much wrong in such a short space of time was tantamount to just how bad he really was. If he had hung around any longer the damage would have been worse.
