Grayson deal nearing close

The more i saw of him the less impressed i became. has a decent enough right peg and thats it.

 

It's interesting that McCartan has publicly stated they want Grayson to stay and also that the reaction of the crowd to the bad run did affect the team

I think he's the type of player willing to learn and probably needs clear direction intermixed with discipline. He comes across as desperate to do well - perhaps too desperate

 

Yep. That hasn't worked out. Easily the worst of the Wyke partnerships and unless we're going to drop Charlie, I don't know where he fits in

Actually reminds me of Gareth Evans, who in fairness went on to do OK (36 appearances for Portsmouth this season) and had similar bad luck with us. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out

Unless he is willing to sign an extension we should sell him. For whatever reason he just hasn’t clicked with all the fans, might just be his demeanour but he rarely smiles and doesn’t come across as being happy here.

 

How can any footballer not enjoy being a profestional footballer, yet at yimes he does seem a bit surly, the opposite to his mate McMahon who enjoys every minute, more so when he gets a reaction from the opposition players.

Morning all,simon is due for more talks today but regardless of a certain poster saying its getting closer etc for him to stay that is not quite the case.....
Out of 100% of him not staying i would go for around the 75% mark(yes its improved from maybe the 95% mark i was privvy too earlier on in the week).
But in mu humble oppinion we will be seeking new manager from monday onwards.unless something hugely dramatic happens very very soon.

 

Why has there been an improvement in the chances of him staying and how do you know this information?

Its changed because theres a game of cat and mouse going on,maybe there isnt the amount of outside interest hes making out........just putting that bit out there

I know that unless Grayson, Rahic, Rupp or Mason are registered here nobody on this forum knows anything regarding the situation.

 

Pigeon mail, they all have pigeons and flat caps in South Yorkshire

 

I realise fans are anxious about who will be the manager, but do we have to be subjected to the various itk posters subjecting fans to more speculation. I suspect any announcements to be after Scunthorpe. So let’s try and be adults and wait and see.
