The way I see it, is that if he doesn't spend money, then the fans will turn on him (again) and he'll fook off. So it all depends if he wants to do that or not. Easy excuse to pack up and leave, is to not give any funds. We get relegated, he sells to Rhodes and some others (if any are interested) and cuts his losses, sucks off into the sunset never to be seen again.

Was told about him before that game.
Wouldn’t say no chance though. Leeds are top of the league and the kids needs games time. If he is deemed surplus at the minute a loan out would do him good. Plus we are right next door so there is no uprooting him.

Seedorf was classed as an exciting young PL winger though, doesn't mean fk all, odds are he won't be good enough unfortunately.

That’s the problem with loans. The loaning team either know they won’t use them ( kids from a pl club, who usually aren’t ready) or the team loaning you then wait until end of window to make sure they have cover in

 

No sorry, I am not ITK I just heard we are after a PL winger.

 

It can be loans, but even if we are signing permanent clubs still want cover and are waiting for the players they want to sign as well, think Chesterfield last year.

 

The thing about January is that it is a very expensive limited market. If DH has identified players, he won’t just be able to move on to another target as there won’t be lots of choice. Plus costs come into it as well.

 

If we want them for peanuts then I’d say you’re right.

If we put in a serious offer for players, the selling club will know they can find replacements. Money talks.

Clubs already have players lined up to walk in the door on jan 1st. We are either hoping clubs do us a favour with players as we are skint, or we are targeting the wrong players who are not actually available should x y and z not happen.

We don’t have time to burn, although we go have a big gap in figures after next week, we need them in to the up to speed with Hopkins pressing game
