Why the secrecy?

    The club has not confirmed just how many season tickets have been sold this season.

    In July they claimed that in excess of 14,000 had been sold. The closing date was 3rd August 2018. https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2018/july/new-season-ticket-offer/

    As the club publishes attendance figures, which are inflated from the reality of those in the ground, based on the number of Season Ticket holders as well as pay for the individual match, then they know.

    Given Edin has been ‘sorry’, and the club is looking at ‘engaging’ fans, then why not be more open?

    The figure appears to be at least 20% lower than the near 19,000 sold last season.

    Anyone ITK out there?

    As an aside the picture on the Club link is interesting.

    Everyday there seems to be 2 or 3 threads having a dig at something or another, it's non stop.

    I don't remember any previous seasons where we've not been told the final season ticket total, so it's a perfectly valid question. Don't see the problem myself?

    Really? When have we ever been given an exact number of tickets sold? I can't remember it at all to be honest.

    I'm not too sure about giving an exact number, but we usually had a pretty good idea. The Bradford City Twitter account for example used to provide us with regular updates and keep us in the know on the amount of season tickets sold. That article was written a whole month before prices took a spike and we've not heard a murmur since. How many did we sell since their last update? 500? 1,000? 2000? It's anyone's guess.

    If you need ask the club for such information, then they aren't being transparent enough. That's his point.

    It's just another excuse. Imo. Everyone knows around about what the figure is, it was quoted during the season ticket campaign. I'm not sure needing to know the exact figure is of that importance myself.

    I think this should be extended to how many pies are sold at each match. In fact, why not a live blog updating when each is sold?
