HD8 is pretty darn soggy

Spoke to him after the last cancellation and he’s a very friendly and honest guy

Can we not kick off at 4pm, apparently no rain and the sun will be out.

 

But, I wasn’t trying to be nasty or spiteful to the fans who prefer to sit in the upper tiers because I do myself.
It was all purely about the atmosphere and how it will look great on tv to see all the lower tiers full.

 

Is everyone sitting in their ticketed seat tonight or treating it as unreserved?

 

It’s knobbing it down in PE30 locality. Terrible morning so far.

 

Stopped raining in Nab Wood. Just had the dog out round the block, no drizzle anymore and it looks like the sun is starting to try come through too.

 

To be fair I did read it as this, it's a lot better atmosphere when the bottom tiers are full.

Sit where you want, I just love it when a group of people come in at just before kick off clutching their tickets and scrutinising the numbers on seats. Sometimes better entertainment than the game itself

I just couldn’t see how keeping the top tier shut whilst opening other parts of the ground was in anyway helpful to the senior city fans who sit up there for some comfort. My husband could hardly walk for a week after sitting in one of the “new seats” in the lower tier against Middlesbrough.
@Loyalbantam has now explained that it would be ascetically pleasing for the cameras to show the lower seats all full.

I so want us to win this tonight - mainly for those attending, the players, the boss and other staff at the club - but also for the many City fans dotted round the globe who will be watching on Sky, and yes for the much maligned Rupp, Sparks and Gent!

But make no mistake, if we do win it will not change the bigger picture and our rightful pursuit to expect more from those running our club

 

just passed the stadium on the way back to the workshop and SKY are busy setting up, pitch looks awful but no standing water that i could see. Time yet ,as it is still raining.
