I lived in Wales Cardiff for 12 years. We suffered from the anti English discrimination, not so much in Cardiff but if went further a field it was there. My son who was 7 at the time and had a Yorkshire accent lost it within 3 weeks due to being singled out as English. The teachers were very conscious of it and definitely put him under their wing, they loved his accent and were sorry to see it go like that.

 

I worked in North Wales for 2 years and a lot of the locals ( not all ) from the same company we all worked for absolutely despised us.
Occasionally switching to speaking Welsh when we entered rooms was a particular favourite.

 

I've had a change of thought and think we will win today. Convincing 0-3 win

After seeing that team, I suspect a heavy defeat. Smallwood instead of our midfield Grandad is just poor management

 

They both played against Doncaster. Young has missed most of training this week so he was never going to start today.

good that young is on the bench and can be brought on if and when needed. no need to risk further damage, not trained all week , so probably a bit off the pace.

 

That's a strange one Alexander was adamant Jake Young would not figure this weekend and hoped his ankle injury would clear up in time to be involved next week/weekend.

 

That last sentence brought back memories. Annual family camping holiday , Red Wharf Bay Anglesey . Walked in a bay side pub, several around the bar speaking English, pint a bitter and a lime and lemon ( That was for me) . As soon as I spoke , they all swapped to Welsh. Feck right off, drank up and left. Never to return in the next 14 days or so. Ignorant two hats!
