Sorry, RT, it's bang out of order to suggest Salford and FGR 'look' better run than us! How DARE you! ;)

In January, Salford brought in Ash Hunter, Tom Elliott, Bruno Andrade, Michael O'Connor, George Tanner, James Wilson, and Ash Eastham, letting nobody of note leave. They're eyeing 7th, and hunting it down.

FGR just had plans approved for a new 'bowl' stadium. They are looking to secure their mid-term future by investing in plans at a brick-and-mortar level.

Meanwhile, we evicted the two best strikers in the division and signed inferior replacements in an 'attempt(?)' to halt our slide down the table. Astonishingly, it didn't work(???). We sacked the manager the second his transfer business had effectively ended our season, then appointed someone with every chance of getting the best out of Vaughan and Doyle...

We have no obvious plans on or off the field, no trademark 'style', no true club mentality, no real aspirations, no sense of continuity as we drift from one phase to the next, but what we DO have is a reasonable amount of hope that a randomly appointed manager might do a Parkinson and drag our unworthy arses back to a standard of football befitting of a city, a stadium, and a fan base of our size.

Who knows, it might even happen this decade!

That transfer window was a statement of intent from Salford. Our statement of intent was Novak and some bloke from the worst team in England. And a keeper on loan who played quite well and was dropped at the first opportunity. I'm honestly trying to find a positive but their harder to find than grass on Valley Parade.

Novak might accidentally be the only positive of that window - but his impact won't be felt unless we assemble a good side for next season.

But certainly there's no real positive for this season, which you'd have hoped might have been the focus of the window slap-bang in the middle of it!

Don't play footy roulette boys. That division is very hard to get out of and their is at least 15 teams with better players team spirit and set ups than our shambles......

Harrogate Town would beat us right now IMO and might well do so next season. It's a highly competitive league and as you say, really tough to get out of so nope, dropping in it is not for me. The league/nonleague division is not what it used to be and it's time that the National League was Div3 with 3 promoted and the dread of FL relegation removed.

Not unless we went "pop", then I'd take a phoenix Bradford City over the nothingness we have now. We'd be in the National League in no time and it's pretty enjoyable there, a lot of oppo fan interaction, you can often change stands and beer acccess is good. An enjoyable day at the football.

This is what gets to me. It's alright blindly renewing my season ticket year after year to support Bradford City but how long do I continue to do this when every aspect of the club is shambolic? If I'm honest I have no faith at all that anything will improve anytime soon, either on or off the pitch. The ownership issue remains unresolved and until it is it's hard to see anything other than one mediocre season after another. I don't really believe we'll get anywhere until Rupp, Rhodes and, I'm sorry, Stuart have all gone, and there's no indication at all when that might be. So do I keep going down to VP and coming away depressed or do I take a break? I'm sure I'm not alone in this dilemma.

Rahic gave me reason not to renew, he was not going to get a penny from me. But I ended up enjoying not going more than going, so "Not watching L2" became another excuse not to renew. I've been up and down the country supporting BCFC for decades but I've only got one life and now time is going quicker, I've got to priortise. The club has lost what, 5k fans very recently, is it bothered? It doesn't appear to be, so I'll go when I feel like it.
