Odour's video clip was fantastic.

 

I actually thought about Odour when we were discussing Humphrys and how deceiving a highlights clip can be. I reckon I could make a reel of Odour to make him look like an exciting playmaker, I’d be using a lot from his game against Wycombe in the semi final of the pizza cup. He did look unbelievable for that game and the game when we smashed MK 4-1 I think it was, he set up one or two and scored a nice goal.

 

Do it, get it out there, we might get a six figure bid for him

You make a good point, I can see why it was tried ( one needs must ) but …..GA realised quite early that it was a failure , hence signing two recognised LWB ‘s since , oddly both from the same source indirectly . Stockport lol!

His mobility , pace, pressing and the way he brought others into play when at Mansfield was pretty damn good, I remember him well, thinking I wish we had that pace and fluidity up front. Crawley outbid Mansfield with a new contract , same as we did with Josh Neufville, that’s the only reason I can see why he switched promoted sides.

 

That's my thoughts. His best attributes seem to fit into the way we play and it looks like we've targeted a player for a system rather than basing it on him playing well for someone else in a completely different set up.

 

Absolutely Dave, my instant thought was “who”, certainly one not touted, prompted nor got Alan Nixon or Twitter involved . Then a quick google and the penny dropped !

I have no doubt he’s been targeted, as it likely appears all of the other recruits have too, that why say Tilt was deemed to be another “ strange” one.

We just need to move those on who know in their hearts won’t see anything other than the Woodhouse Grove pitches and I’m feeling extremely optomistic.

He’s also a bit deluded about Mansfield. They struggled towards the end of last season and wouldn’t be surprised to see them down there. They’re well funded in league 2 but not at this level. Say that to the Mansfield fans on there and they swallow you, same with the other East Midlands teams fans on that site.

 

My gut suggests we won't struggle, but I have to say I haven't really looked at the other teams as yet.

I'd say we aren't close to challenging with some of the quality that other sides have brought in, but I don't get the feeling we will be too weak.

Then again, unless there are 10 sides weaker than us my (probable) prediction of midtable might not be based on much...

Not sure if you are on there Sergio, but the entire East Midlands lot or odd. Don’t dare criticise what’s going on at Notts despite it being a total shit show!

It’s first time Mansfield have been at that level in about 30 years and the Mansfield lot think they’re experts.
