Why sell them 8 weeks before the game though?

 

so people can plan?

 

I might manage to get one then. Shame I probably won’t get one for Burton the next week.

Another club with thousands of empty seats probably 10k + yet come the end of the year they will have lost money .....

 

When you lower your prices it requires a greater volumes of sales otherwise you lose even more money. Do you think Wigan would sell out home games if prices were lower? I don’t.
The only reason low prices works for us is because we have bums on seats.

 

One of my fave away games in our. super cup run... how they did not beat us I will never know...... great support. too

 

Was there in 1981/2 first time they were a professional full time football club. A great day with Hollinger Travel bus breaking down and the next City coach on the motorway picking us up I’ve no idea how I got home happy happy days. Does anyone know if the great Patsy and Tiny are still with us ?

 

Dunno.. but to a 16 year old kid in the bradford end they looked old then!

I spoke to Tommy at the Memorial service in May 2024 and Patsy still going strong then I believe he's in Spain ?.

Was on one bus that ended up at the rugby ground and we picked up a local who stood at the front and directed the driver to the right ground. The bus was surrounded by police on arrival and we got a full lecture by the top dog before going into the ground. Think we lost aswell
