I'm not being flippant @How but I'd think @Glenn Ackroyd & @wetherbywhaler might not be as convinced as yourself, before things can be corrected we have to find out just how deep Rahic's f**k up has gone.

 

And lets face fact, if you are indeed mad enough to want to take a controlling interest in a lower league football club there is no better time to do it than currently at Bradford. A club in complete meltdown, bought for a way over its proper valuation, with no real assets to speak of. You'd be lucky to give the thing away, any valuation Rupp puts on the club is miles away from its true value. In fact, when we go down in the summer, that would have been the best time for anyone like Rupp to purchase the club. Get it for next to nothing, the money you save on the purchase price can then be invested in the team. There's people interested alright, just depends how balls deep Rupp wants to sink.

 

Only if any prospective buyer can get it for a giveaway price.

 

Why would he want to buy our club when he can make more money by opening the DW gyms all over the country.

 

Yes any buyers will need something reserve to improve the squad and then pay players who a surplus to requirements and we can not move on. This is something Rupp will need to recognise. The penalty for not having checks in to what his active partner Mr Rahic was getting up to negstively affecting the his investment and city.

 

I dont know what figure would be banned about, but one thing for sure mate is Stefan has got to be realistic with his valuation, and that's not just the clubs assets (have we any) against what is required to get our club back on an even keel, in other words how much Stefan is prepaired to invest.
I'll repeat Stefan's quote just after they took control of our club, "my investment is worth the risk" I didnt like the comment at the time and I like it even less the position our club is in.

 

He knows this, i think he's taken it quite personally that Rahic has done him over.

I would imagine he'd be buying a football club for the buzz, which he wouldn't get from opening another 100 gyms!

Purely from a financial view though I agree, there are better investments than buying us or any football club.

 

Rupp got stitched up like a kipper by Rahic. Seems like an honourable guy does Rupp but jeez he was gullible. Like employing a habitual shoplifter then handing him the company credit card. Absolute madness. Rhodes and Lawns Christmasses all came at once when these two came knocking on the Valley Parade door.

 

I’m not talking about the financial side. More on the playing side to get the club back up the leagues

 

Rupp will want something back no doubt. He’s pumped a lot in but if he doesn’t want to put any more in then he has to look to sell at a suitable price.

You’re now buying a club on its way down rather than before where they bought it. A club which was on its way to the championship

 

I think he would be getting a bigger buzz watching his bank account filling up nicely than buying a football club that is in free fall because they sing loudly (sometimes).

He has no bargaining position, thats his problem. What is there to value? A squad thats worth bugger all and is on inflated wages. No ground or land to use as a sweetener. Honestly, he's been shafted big time by Rahic and i know he takes it very personally. Which could be good for us in a way.
