    Then accept the inevitable non of the others will draw the immediate response required from this group of players. But more important than that we need to see from this appointment an idea of how we will set about life in League 2 ?. We don't want artists and weaklings we want down right uncompromising hatchet men who will be feared by the oppostion and a manager who might not be "The Bantams Family" cuppa tea but is prepared to get down right nasty and pull every trick in the book to get results!. Ask yourself this how many times have we ever got one over Steve Evans ? Exactly !

    Evans has a criminal conviction for tax fraud related to transfer activities when he was manager of Boston United. He should have been banned from the game at that point.

    A football club manager has been given a suspended jail sentence after admitting helping the club cheat the taxman out of £250,000. The money was used to buy players and eventually gain promotion to the Football League. So who said cheats never prosper?

    Boston United's Steve Evans has narrowly avoided becoming the first Football League manager to be sent to jail.

    Evans and his former chairman, Pat Malkinson, pleaded guilty to conspiring to cheat the public revenue between 1997 and 2002.

    What happens next? We get relegated. We struggle in League 2 for a season. We get relegated the following season. We flunk the National League and start the next season playing York City at Avenue's ground. You think that I'm joking? It could well happen. The Rahic shitstorm will go on for years. :sob:
