It's purely down to the Euro Finals this week. The goalkeepers for example, the Man U keeper is defo in the squad but if he were to be injured on Wednesday then the other two would get in with Pickford.

Plus it gives those who have been announced as potential stand ins a little bit of a boost. Watkins will only get in if one of the other strikers is injured in the next week and except from Kane and DCL the other three could be playing in finals this week, but at least he knows his hard work is paying off and he is on Southgate's radar.

Creatively with Mount, Grealish and Foden, we look very strong, Kane as a goal scorer is one of the best, it's really our goalkeeper and a ball winning midfielder where we look a little week. Hopefully Jordan Henderson will be fit to help out in that department.

Sorry? Are you saying that Declan Rice is weak?

I'm saying we don't have much depth in that position, which is why I hope Henderson is back fit seeing as he hasn't played for months.

That kind of position needs some depth as yellow cards tend to be given like confetti in these tournament, and ball winning midfielders pick up more than most.

I'm glad we've got a squad/team that can score goals. Looking at our defending options gets me worried. Slabhead can be beaten for pace a lot, Walker is a bit of a liability, Stones sometimes loses his nerve, and you can never tell what Shaw is going to show up. Add to that Pickfords moments of madness. Henderson has been picked to try and help out the centrebacks, but his own fitness needs to be proven. I'm not sure Phillips can cut it at international level - espcially this standard. I'd pick Rice ahead of him.

Going to be exciting games that's for sure!

Best quote i've seen is in his desperation to win a trophy, Harry Kane has asked to play for France instead.

I saw Levy saying he wouldn't sell Kane to any of their rivals.

I guess the response to that is I don't think Kane wants to go to Everton or Leeds.

Id say Rice with Phillips as back up is more than adequate for tournament football. Both have just had great seasons. And as you say, always Henderson as well.

This squad is only weak in the centre back department imo. Goalkeepers will just about do for me.

Man City looks nailed on if you read into Kanes comments.

If he wants trophies he has to join Man City and not make the mistake Shearer made by going to a side destined to be runner up.

Man Utd will 'chip in' with Trophies. Who knows, someone of his quality with 1 or 2 more might take them to the next level. I think either is going to bring him trophies but yes, City will be favoured, especially with Pep at the helm.

Man City are on the verge of a treble having played the entire season without a fully fit world class striker. Imagine Kane up front for them. Kane would have the golden boot by Christmas.

Imagine Shearer's goal record if he had been in that Man U squad instead of Cole.
