    Just as an aside, he certainly didn't look the part but I thought Graham Bonnet's vocals were superb during his time with Rainbow

    I guess it's a bit like Sabbath without Ozzy.

    Burn and Stormbringer are two great albums imo and David Coverdale is great on them.

    Today I have been mostly listening to Sunny Day Real Estate. A band that totally passed me by in the early 90s as at 14 I was only just beginning to dip my toes in alternative music. Brilliant.

    also listened to Jet Black by Jawbreaker far too many times great song and it turns out my lad is quite the fan of Texas Is The Reason.

    I hadn't read this thread before because I'd been living without hi-fi for years. New Cambridge set-up now.

    Nice to see Hawkwind mentions. Stacia was a big part of my adolescence, with the help of my mini binoculars :OO:.
    Space Ritual in 1973 at St George's still my best ever gig. Disappointing at Salford Lowry about 3 or 4 years ago.

    Catching up now on old Radiohead, LedZep, Kings of Leon.
