Ten Years after: I got their boxed set of 10 CD's for Christmas.

I have seen them in 1972 and Alvin Lee as solo artist in about 2011, both at St Georgs.

One of my fav albums is Cricklewood Green got it on vinyl as well!

I'm working my way through the Pitchfork 31 Best Rock Albums of 2021 playlist to hopefully find some hidden gems that I missed last year. Not much on there that I was already familiar with: Nick Cave (not bad), Black Midi (I don't really get along with), Dry Cleaning (not for me), Iceage (nope), The Weather Station (very good), Low (one of my favourites from last year) - which leaves quite a lot to go at.

Highlights so far are IAN SWEET, Japanese Breakfast, Tohnstasbandht and Parannoul.

A couple of notable bands came out of London back in the day; the Demics got the greater exposure, but this group was the more interesting, musically and lyrically. "Falasha" (starts at 11:02) the standout track on the EP, though all are worth a listen:

That channel is excellent for post-punkiness.
