    Think they are saying biggest concern is rain, due to it freezing on contact with ground.

    If it was purely snow, then I think there would be little problem, but the fact they have emphasised the ice element and the significant problems in stability on the road and pavement, means getting to and fro from the match is the big issue. I would anticipate that the pitch surface will be playable, but the potential for injury or worse through slipping or losing control of a vehicle is highly relevant. Valley Parade and its environs is hardly going to attract the Local Authority to grit heavily and apart from the Midland Road, everything is on a gradient. I am considering giving this one a miss (and I have been to both FA Cup games).

    Very windy in Keighley, biting cold wind but dry so far. Overcast.
    If it does rain and form black ice around lunchtimw then i can see the game being called off.
    Its not just VP and its surroundings they have to consider with regards to fans safety.
    I would say its 50/50 at best that the game will start.

    The vast majority of fans live further away from Valley Parade than central Bradford (I assume you mean Forster Square). The pitch may well be playable. It will be the issue of getting to and from the ground. The BBC 24 hour news Is repeatedly making reference to the serious forecast.

    Wow you don't know how to to create drama.

    You currently talk like the person who always gets picked last for a team in PE because of many factors but mainly because he is a pu&sy that's scared to apply themselves in the cold outdoors.

    The game will not be called off. It's not snowing as yet and it's not even that cold!

    Instead of buying a Primark coat spend some decent money of a good coat. Dam!

    Got to be realistic Fordy, if the freezing rain hits there will be a major safety issue, I'm based in Wrose, been out for an hour this morning, its dry but bloody cold. I hope we play and get 3 points, I can walk to the game, many others can't.
