No Park, a new owner would come in with the intention of trying to take this club forward. No disrespect to Stefan Rupp but he's got himself into something he could never have imagined when he first met Rahic. If he could bail now he would, its the massive loss he would take that holds him from doing so.

 

A new owner might have the best intentions but if he hasn't got a pot to piss in are we better or worse off?

 

Just my opinion, but I think Rupp would bail if he got even a half reasonable offer. Everyone in football must know this

 

That would be fantastic, football is a joke, finances ruined by greed chasing greed chasing greed, led by a few super rich entities who don't understand the damage their recklessness has caused and is causing - all to be seen as the 'best in Europe'.

At our level, that a team from a place like Salford with zero professional footballing history can suddenly be finishing only slightly below Bradford City is a joke.

Football is a fantasy.

You can't just fund a tennis player to make them the best in the world, you can't just pay for a boxer to have the best training and expect a string of KO's.

The sport is genuinely boring at the minute, with money more important than any ability or skill you can think of.

The worry is that any new owners who want to buy the club cheap will also run the club cheap, TBH the future of BCFC is somewhat bleak unless Rupp has a change of heart and supports the club better going forward

Just concentrate on our current owner and he isn't fit for purpose in moving this club forward.

Rhodes isn't fit for purpose for moving the club forward.

Can Rupp afford 10m? Yes, but he has it seems decided not to move this club forward and I if I am right in saying Lawn & Rhodes said they sold the club to Rupp because he could move the club forward in a way that they can't.

Bradford City make to many excuses for a business. You know that mate.

For Bradford City as a club not to own any assets is damn right criminal and damaging.

Why isn't Rupp and Rhodes talking to the fans? Why hire Ryan to do that? It's a SME it doesn't need a communication director. Rhodes should be facing the fans and letting them know what vision and direction he has for the club.

Why can't the club find a CEO to replace Rhodes as I believe the club was looking for one?

The club is a mess! For me its going nowhere and we will be in for div 2 for a long time under Rupp. We have a manager now signing his mates and no scouting network...Great! No plan, no direction and no vision.

The fact you think this is a new thing in football is baffling. I don’t get why other clubs having a lot of money and taking them up the league bothers people so much?
Find other ways to compete. Spend the money you do have wisely and beat them on the pitch. At the end of the day whether they are the richest club in the world or not football is and always will be played on the pitch. Not in the boardroom
