Transfer talk ...anybody?

 

if there was any transfer talk I'm sure it'd get posted.

demanding there be some isn't gonna make anything happen. that's why the thread has gone off topic a bit.

 

What did you expect - there is no transfer talk, so fans will obviously talk about ‘retaining’ or ‘releasing’ our existing players instead.

 

It isn’t difficult to start a new thread - maybe you could name it “retain or release exsisting players”!!!!

 

That is what happens when you start a thread and no one has anything to post about the thread.
It is too soon for any transfer rumours

 

I don't really understand why everyone gets so upset every time something not directly relating to the thread title comes up. if we started a new thread for every single sentence relating to City we wanted to say the forum would have hundreds of threads with no or very little discussion.

 

But why would I need to? The thread was about transfer talk, right? And we got taking about Wyke because someone posted ‘would we be concerned if he was sold this summer’. That, IS transfer talk...!

Then someone suggested Law had played his last and would be leaving in the summer. That also IS transfer news.

Or are you making a new rule that ‘Transfer News’ is only for possible incomings? All threads go off on a tangent. Why are people upset that there is nothing yet to read in a thread clearly started weeks early???!!!

 

But when there are no rumours it will drift. In theory it was discussing transfers, sell Wyke or not? Keep Law or not? etc

 

I get that ............ But those very same points have been / are being addressed in a couple of other threads, too.
And in no way do I wish to sound 'picky' - as without the occasional 'derailing' of a thread, the Forum would be boring, and become sanitised. Yet I just wish posters would not repeat something either they or someone else has said before.

well Grayson if he stays likes familiar faces around him. So I think players he has had in the past might be on the list of transfer targets
