Yeah and he's saying they are paying all his wage. I know we keep banging on about them but i like the way MacAnthony does his business. Stadium and training facilities being upgraded, young players brought in after successful spells at other clubs and shown a clear route to championship and premiership football. i like the fact the club makes no secret of its strategy to move players on and the way every player is up for sale when they have 12 months left on contract. With the players they brought in as replacements and a canny manager in Evans i can see them being one of the playoff teams come the end of the season.

 

You should know there is no halfway with some posters, you have to be anti everything Bradford City or be a happy clapper.

We can catch up quicker but its gonna take someone at the top table to dig into their bank account to start the ball rolling. I guess we are waiting for one of our young players to come good before we start speculating. As you say Peterborough are well ahead on the plan schedule. If Marriott goes for £4/5 million thats their transfer budget paid up for three or four seasons, just like Assombalonga did, just like Dwight Yorke did and just like Connor Washington did.

 

And therein lies the problem. They have been doing this for years now whereas our previous owners/manager didn't believe in investing in youth so as a club we are starting from scratch,

 

4/5million and thats there transfer budget sorted for next 3/4 seasons???

Our previous owners priority was to keep us in the football league at one stage, which we did thanks to Parkinson. The next priority was to get us out of the khazi league, again which they did. Their next priority was to establish us a league one, you get the picture. The fact this does not help Rahic and his strategy is neither the previous owners problem nor their concern. What the previous owners did worked, admittedly down to Parky, we were financially stable for years.
Its now up to the new owners.
