    So did your son make the journey? In addition to the ticket options there were some cancellations and line closures due to the flooding.

    Yes mate, it was interesting to say the least. Messages me at 21.00 to say the train at Durham has been cancelled only that it's back on but stops at York. Then tells me he's on it another train that now goes to Leeds but won't get there in time for the connection to Bradford. So I went to Leeds to pick him up, and driving into Leeds for someone like me who doesn't know the place is bloody hard work. Eventually got him home at about 1 am. It was worth it for the day yesterday, looking at the Notts County away game for the next saga lol.
