Can’t stand the heat..... as the saying goes.?

 

I haven’t personally abused anyone in this thread, I haven’t even said it’s a shit signing, I’ve simply dared to suggest it might not be anything to get excited about.

I don’t think that warrants the abuse I’ve got.

 

No just a weird sense of humour. Bronco and Browny will tell you that supporting city for a long time has this effect.

 

He’s apologised act graciously and accept.

Nope. He just explained that it was normal for the woman to supply the pint before and the fag after:thumbsup: if you get all of that for £50 it is daylight robbery and the poor woman is desperate. Seem to remember 5/6 years ago a young chap called Wells having a trial with us. Our manager at the time didn't want him but was persuaded to give him a chance on peanuts. Like everyone else, Like Joe Riley I don't know how this guy is going to turn out but I'm sure most of us will give them a chance and get behind them.

 

At least with Isherwood, he has a bit of pedigree having represented Sweden through the age groups. Night and day compared to the likes of Barr and Rabiega

What does 'relative pace' mean? Relative to what. A Swedish under 19 international or that his dad is English?

 

No idea, maybe just saying he's quick for a big lad?

 

What's that got to do with the unjustified personal abuse?

 

Numbers wise we are well covered for Centre Backs although there's not a lot of quality there. McGowan is the only one who we can describe as genuine quality and even he's only played 3 games for us. If he gets injured we are back to the CB partnership which was one of the worst performing in the division. We could do with another one in the mould of Mcardle or we could be back to square one very quickly, unless this guy can step up of course. At this stage, I wouldn't want to pin my hopes on him though.

 

So will I. I'm just not bigging him up as our next £2M sale until I've seen him play.

My first experience was the Reeperbahn in Hamburg as a young squaddie. Free food, drink and women, but like any car park, only 2 hours allowed !
