Just because he played for Bayern’s reserves does not mean he is going to be good enough for L1.

I find Keelham's meat prices very competitive, although not keen on their sausages. I shop for most stuff at Aldi with side trips to Waitrose in Otley, which isn't always as expensive as you might think. I often nip in for bargains reduced at the end of the day, Booth's in Ilkley is pricey, but their end of day reductions are excellent. Nearly all the veg and soft fruit is home grown from the allotment though.

 

Ah, I don’t buy meat from Keelham, I have an excellent butcher who will tell me exactly where they animal comes from and how they were bred, treated etc., The other half wanted me to try Aldi, and I did, yes less expensive I would have carried on, but then the other half said he preferred Ocado, lol Ocado is a subsidiary of Waitrose and John Lewis, I find them very competitive.

 

Ocado sell Waitrose stuff but it is an independent company. They have a branding and supply agreement. I have used them a couple of times but prefer to shop in person. This is going way off topic but could you message me details of your butcher. Mine retired a couple of years ago!

Bayern’s reserves play in their fourth tier because that’s the German set up. It’s harder and more competitive than the pl under 23 league as the jackmeoff cup proves.

If we’d picked up a promising 20 year old (like we did with Riley) from Man Utd or Man City under 23s we’d be delighted.

Him playing in the German tier four is a red herring, he’s a good signing in my view

Correct, players play differently for different managers and teams, no one knows how good/bad they will be until a few games into the season.
