I wasn’t at the fans forum. Can you provide me with quotes as to who has decided they alienated fans. What did they say? Was there a walk out? Was there a vote? Was this reported in the papers, or WOAP? I just want to understand this a little better.

    Thanks for your help.

I don’t like the direction we appear to be going but it’s their choice. Clearly they don’t want to go down the popular route and gamble and possibly lose their money. They seemed to come in with a long term strategy but expected quick success? Coming so close in their first year may have cemented their belief and made them think this is easy look what we’ve done in our first year.

Grayson clearly thinks it won’t work so he opted to be unemployed in the hope that he get’s a more ambitious club. I find that disappointing based on the big statements the owners were only too happy to boast. But we are where we are.

Next season is huge for the owners. It’s their investment at stake. If it goes bad surely they will have second thoughts. They will not want to be around and plod on getting abuse and losing money with little or no chance of success. If it does go bad, at some point they will need to gamble or sell. Alternatively they could get lucky and bring success. Either way at the start of the season I will fully support the club and whoever they appoint as coach. We and the owners want success albeit for different reasons.

Wait and see, want to wait and see what happens first. By the time you've waited and seen a bit longer that nothing is gonna change, no lessons have been learned whatsoever and you're finally ready to draw your line in the sand declaring no more, enough is enough, we'll be propping up the division clutching a one way ticket to league two and it'll be too late.

Without a shadow of a doubt they have to go. Next season has got relegation written all over it. We as a club are in real trouble with these two at the helm. Can't understand why some people are still defending them. How much evidence of imminent disaster do you people need before the reality of our situation smashes you square in the face?

Well, Punk, I am still defending them. They have spoken of being in it for the long haul and that I believe. Their mistake was to say things like "three year plan" and "automatics are still on".

Listen to the radio Leeds podcast or read parkers blog of the night. Edin went on and on about the Hitler videos costing us this that and the other, including sponsorships. Especially when asked about his own personal mistakes he just used this all as a deflection tactic. No accountablility whatsoever.

It was a PR disaster, the fans wanted answers to questions and for the owners to shoulder some responsibility, but that didn’t happen and most of it fell on Gregs shoulders to try and take it away from Edin. Instead fans were told that due to the actions of a few individuals, we had lost sponsors, and it clearly felt like it was our fault the club was lacking finance.

Not on the night but since then they have come out and accepted blame for mistakes that have happened.

Think it's a bit over the top to say they ailienated fans, they specified certain fans on social media had gone over the top and possibly made racial slurs against them - which to be fair some 'city' fans have done, especially on Twitter.

In a discussion regarding protesting against the owners of a football club, there is definitely a comparison to be made.

It shows that even a fan/owner relationship that was as sour as Cardiff's with Tan can be mended with success on the pitch and an owner's admittance of early mistakes. I wonder if Cardiff fans are now a bit sheepish (excuse the pun) about the protests now.

Its still early days for Rahic & Rupp, they've made mistakes that I am unhappy about but protesting an entirely different thing.

I guess the fact that we have lost about 25% of the 2017/2018 Season Ticket holders is a form of ‘protest’?

For me that is adequate as a protest. It is up to the club to attract them to return. If it can be done once, then it demonstrates that there is an appetite.

Personally I do not solely blame the owners. I think that.
    • The managers
    • Players
    • Coaching staff
    • Head of recruitment
    • The pitch
    • Injury
Have all contributed in some way. Perhaps the owners take the largest share, but to solely put it down to them seems myopic. It is a ‘holistic’ thing in my opinion.

Yeah that was me, we've been told "wait and see" for a long time now, at what point are we allowed to judge?

    if you say so.

a consortium was put together, and a proposal was delivered.

And obviously no interest in selling from the owners

A question with no set answer, I'd say. Some have already passed that point, some will never reach it, some, like me, have a natural tendency to wait and see...perhaps even waiting too long before deciding; as many men, so many opinions! My patience has indeed worn thin, but as I said above, I think we do need to see if, as one owner at any rate has said, lessons have been learnt.

Edin certainly said the Hitler video could have cost us sponsorship from abroad, that sounded like he might have had something lined up, but no specifics.
