Agree Bronco, its one thing putting up with 'local protests' but when they are coming under scrutiny in a respected national newspaper (which is what the Times is whether it is to your taste or not) its a totally different matter, particularly for the finance/business man of the partnership

 

How and Park - the only 'tired' and 'lazy' comments I have seen on this thread come from yourselves, how much smoke do you guys need to see to believe there might actually be a fire? DH is the most positive thing that has happened to our club since last December but it doesnt mean all the other issues can just be brushed under the carpet, surely deep down you know this even if you like playing a few games along the way?!

 

4 accountants in the past 18 months
Accounts that don’t show level of debt, fees paid/received for players or agency fees paid. ( only club in the league to do so)
No CEO, No Experienced Club Secretary, leading to missed paperwork deadlines on transfers.
Potential short fall in operating cash of £700K (companies house)


I think those who were at the top table have serious worries about the direction the club is going off the field & don’t like it. To be honest neither do I & the quicker the remaining few Rahic Lovers wake up to the damage Rahic is doing to the club the better. It will be down to us to pick up the pieces when it goes tits up.

The accounts are, to be fair to Edin, legal and no different in detail to those the club published under Rhodes and Lawn. I’m no Rahic fan but he’s within his rights on the published accounts.

Club ran at a shortfall forever. Apart from Cup money and odd transfer fee/sell ons.

I don’t see how the accounts are different from others. They are legal. Why do we need to know every in and out? We are fans

We have got rid of club employees who were on the take. Heard some rumours about those but won’t post on a public forum as don’t think it’s right.

We should have replaced mason and as said before our biggest mistakes have not been who we have got rid of but how poor the replacements have been. Or lack of them. However poor manager gone and new one in who will turn our fortunes around

 

No one is brushing them under the carpet. Gaurentee however if we go on a good run and look a decent footballing side again, this will still be there but not a new thread every day style like it is now

Its like all we needed all along was a sensible, hard working coach.

But our problems ran - and still run - far deeper than just an inexperienced coach. Collins was a bit of a problem, but also a symptom the real troubles we had. And still have.

Is Hopkin really so strong of a character he can nullify all of Edin's negative effects?

Its just as likely another key player becomes incensed and offended, unsettling the whole club once again.

 

For too long ego's have blighted our Club and I am certain that Hopkin will not stand for any of that.
