The midland Hotel-Peel-Pennington& er Car Washes!

That's probably more to do with how busy Liverpool is on a Saturday night rather than the quality of the hotel itself.

 

Its a long time since I was in The Adelphi we went on the Strawberry Fields Tour obviously a Beatles week end and it was terrible, many of our 60s week ends are in Britannia Hotels Savoy Blackpool The Prince Of Wales Southport, and the Grand in Blackpool, they are old hotels that need a lot of money spending on them to bring them back to something like they were, with regards The Midland we've been to two wedding receptions and I have to say the place was nice and so were the bed rooms we were given.

 

That's pretty standard/on the cheap side for a city centre hotel at weekends, these days.
We recently stayed in York and a bog standard pub with rooms, with average reviews, was asking £200 for a Friday or Saturday night stay. They charge £70 on weekdays.
We're off to Belfast next week and wanted a city centre hotel for one night on the Tuesday. Nothing under £220. We've ended up in a cheap Airbnb.

 

Britannia bought Hollins Hall just before Covid, the lack of investment is glaring anytime you visit a Britannia. Terrible company.

 

Daish Hotels are the worst.
