I think you have to compare home form under each manager rather than just picking a random result from years ago. I don't remember PP's team breaking records left right and centre for the home form although clearly, we must have been half decent to finish so high up.

Watching the Plymouth vs Cardiff game and it=s very difficult to see who's who, Cardiff in the Blue shirts White shorts and Plymouth in Green shirts and White shorts not easy to identify the teams.

 

I was planning on watching Rotherham Donny nice tasty local derby but it's not on. Presumably early kick off on police advice. Donny conceded a penalty after 1 minute, eek! Hoping for a good result to Rotherham as it was rumoured that they'd sack their manager if they lose. I don't want to face them with a new manager bounce!

 

No issues in the WBA Cov game, whoever made Coventrys away strip must have been designing during a power cut.

 

It looks like there might have been pyrotechnics before the kick off as it was smoky and although a breeze it wasn't clearing too well.

Now Cardiff score I certainly chose the right game to watch.

 

I flicked over at just the right time and saw 3 goals in 5 minutes. Plymouth are my late party crashers for the play offs. Always one team that makes a surge and I think they are clicking at just the best time for them.

That lad Pepple looks hand full and we know Tolaj is, it won't be an easy game especially if they can put a few more results together before the come to Valley Parade.

 

We were linked to Pepple last Jan window if I remember rightly and he went onto Chesterfield instead. Looks to have bulked up this season.

I would prefer Cardiff to win this one. They are pretty gone from us barring a crazy set of results whereas Plymouth look like the ones who could make a late run into the playoffs.

 

Last season away from home City won 23 points in 23 games and this season City have won 17 points from 16 games !!!!
So we are doing better in the league above!

 

I reckon Cardiff are the most likely of the top 2 to start having the jitters after yesterday's result. Wouldn't surprise me if Lincoln end up as champions.

 

Cardiff are that far ahead, they can afford a wobble.

I do think Lincoln will win the league now

 

I am not sure about the new signings all being upgrades.

Lee Evans had a stinker against Stockport, conceding possession cheaply at least three times and rocketing several efforts into orbit.

He assisted two of Wimbledon’s goals yesterday. We know he has quality somewhere but not seen it since he returned.

White and Sibley look awful - won’t see another minute of action from now on IMO.

Ashby might be an upgrade on Halliday but we’ve not seen it yet if he is.

Jackson, Mullin and Wheatley give us options and I do think they have been positive additions. Evans can hopefully pull his finger out and add his name to the list, maybe Ashby later on too.

 

What a turd league is is if Lincoln and their air raid siren win it.

no doubt they are tricky to play against, though, and if they win it, for obvious reasons, im sure most City fans would prefer that outcome over Cardiff winning it.
