I watched the DVD when it came out and it wasn’t an easy watch. I looked through my DVDs recently and came across it again - don’t think I could ever bare to watch it again so I binned it. Good riddance.

 

Mason didn't go anywhere near recruiting players, PP had absolute full reign of the footballing side.

Clearly he needed board approval but I fully believe that every single player was PP's choice.

Why is a Peterborough chairman even remotely interested in Rupp?

 

He knows he gets a lot of our fans listening to the podcast so if he can get our owner on he knows he'll not only get a lot of listeners he'll also get our local press talking about the podcast. He's in a no lose situation and he knows it. Either he get Stefan on and he's the one to get him talking or he doesn't come on and he can say he tried.

No way should anyone pay £10 million, Rupp is asking a silly amount and that’s part of the problem against him. It’s worth a 5th of that when you look at the going rate for clubs who own sod all in the lower leagues, he overpaid and regressed the club, just get real and feck off.

 

Nah he was someone PP had tried to sign before at another club but couldn't get it done very much a PP player. I doubt Parky let anyone sign players for him and probably a big part of the reason he walked away from us.

 

Oldham was sold for £10m. Darragh says that there is a lot of interest in clubs now.

 

Didn’t they own their own facilities? Grounds and training grounds can be sold off for housing and make that sort of money alone, hence why some dodgy people are probably paying silly money. How much did Carlisle and Wrexham go for?

 

I think I have heard enough about what Darragh says. £10 million for City no way.

 

He’s probably stirring the pot, he’d be a far better owner than Rupp but he’s still full of his self and comes across as a bit of a Twit.
