The Condition of the Pitch

The Newport pitch looks better than ours too.

 

Ours looks like they've spray painted it the wrong colour green in patches

 

Looks bloody awful!

 

The "painted" lines might not stand out as much from there.

 

Fits right in with the rest of our City then.

 

Sadly Dave you have it there.Those of us who remember the City in the sixties and seventies can only despair at what it has become.

 

Just what I was thinking driving down Wakefield road on Saturday for the first time in years

 

This might sound weird but I think the pitch is slightly narrower this season ? The touch line seems slightly further away than last season

 

Probably now the worst pitch in the football league and will get worse as seaon goes on and weather takes its toll. Its an embarassment a club our size cannot produce a top quality pitch and reflects on the skills of the pitch team entrusted to provide a top quality pitch

 

I suppose we need something to moan about
Football decent ,ticket initiative for cup great,
Ground generally looking best in years
Pitch has been decent last few seasons and as yet we have no idea if it will become worse or not
as the months progress into winter
Let’s make a judgement then

 

Understand what you are saying but the pitch has a lot of sand on it and when the rains come woll not get any better. At the moment its the best it will be all seaon and thats not good enough for professional football

 

The pitch will be fine,with the recent rain it will become more embedded. It is not an embarrassment as you say.

 

Some just like to have a moan it's like been in a laundrette in the 80s listening to the women having a right moan.

 

Sky commentator Bradford keeper needs a sand wedge when kicking out as loads of sand kicked up.
