He can't keep changing the central defenders every couple of games. He should know his strongest combination now and be playing them week in, week out so they get used to each other, especially as we have a new keeper now.

The fact he keeps changing them tells me that he either doesn't know his best 2/3 or he thinks they're all at the same level and can switch them whenever he wants - which almost says none of them are good enough.

Kelly is positional awful. Gets caught the wrong side far too often. None of the centre backs are good enough in my opinion.

I can’t understand how GA has looked at recent weeks and decided that the best option is to stick with the same tactics/formation and broadly the same team. It’s no surprise that we’re struggling once again.

None of the back 3 have had a good first 20 minutes, only difference between the 3 of them is that Kelly is the one that gave away with penalty.

 

I have sympathy for GA. But I have little confidence in him, and don't believe he'll be here next season.

 

Smallwood gets the ball. Has a chance to take some pressure off but decides to pass them the ball and then walks off like nothing happened… couldn't write it!

 

If you add up the speed of the back 4 all together they are still very very slow.
