For those who haven't heard it here's Vernam's post match interview make of it what you will, his comments "I know that's such a cliche answer", yep your right Charles it is.
Such an elegant speaker compared with other footballers.

He may be partly right, when Kellerer came on he instructed Luke Hendrie to move forward into midfield, presumably on Hughes/Hodges say so.

Pierra plays further forward than Gillead. Just saying.

One or two on the Sutton forum seem to be pointing fingers at the referee.

I didn’t think he had a bad game tbh, nothing controversial, other than their claim for a pen in the first half ( Never in a million years!)

Over all to a man/ woman they all said we were the superior side for 75 mins of the game.

    Here’s a sample

“Referee didnt help especially ignoring the shirt pulling; and going down to 10 men for 15mins but I think in the main we've just got to doff a cap to Bradford. A tactical plan well executed. One of the best performances we've seen at GGL this season”.

BCAFC record in Hughes 12 games in charge.
    14 goals for.
    14 goals against.
    4 wins, 3 draws, 5 defeats.
    15 points from 36.
I wouldn't say that the defence has been excellent.
Again i'm convinced even though we've stuffed Sutton yesterday, apart from a few players, a swallow doesn't make a summer and imo most of the team that started yesterday can go for me.

    When did that happen.

It does worry me also that these group of players could be playing out of their skins to earn a new contract and once the ink is dry it all goes to shit again.
Obviously new managers and especially ones of Hughes calibre can make a difference but Adams must be fuming that these are the same players he couldn’t get a tune out of.
It also says a lot about the players themselves. Can they look in the mirror and say they gave 100% for Adams in every game.
The way they played yesterday it’s hard to argue against that they’d win promotion next season but can we trust this group to deliver

They went down to 10 men when one of their players got injured and had to go off and they had used all their subs.

They used all their subs and then a man got injured Dave. Last 15 mins a man short. Nothing to do with the ref for sure.

Adams couldn't get a tube out of them because of the way he managed them. Flogging them constantly going some way to aid numerous injuries and playing players in less favoured positions. Poor man management after games leading to a culture of poor confidence, always admonishing himself of blame.
Hughes is getting better performances, albeit he doesn't have as many injuries. But you can see how the same players have responded to a different style of management. A extreme example of this kind of thing happening right now at Forest. Played us in the cup where we were arguably the better side, Steve Cooper comes in after that and they are now fighting for automatic promotion.

Arguably the second half was better because a club doesn't get to 7th position without being half decent and they were always going to have a spell in the match where they put us under pressure after that first half.

    Second half we saw two things we never saw under Adams;
    1. A bit of resilience to find a way through a sticky spell and come out the other side and retake the lead
    2. A tactical change from the manager which actually made us play better and resulted in us winning.
    Long may it continue.

Wouldn't worry Loyal. Mark Hughes and Glyn Hodges will know exactly who they want to keep and there'll be alot on the way out of VP in the next few weeks.

I have concerns over that also but hoping it's more of previously they wanted out but now under MH they want in, well here's hoping anyhow.
