It's exactly that, the main speakers effectively act as the back up should something go wrong with the safety speakers. They operate on a different system and should have a different power source in case of a power cut.
It's the same as the lights that we have the main lights and emergency lights in the event of an evacuation

 

Not if the wrong one goes down, in our case the red/yellow/green/ announcement system lol

I sit in the Main stand/Whatever it's called these days. And there's nowhere to perch and plonk your beer down while having some grub. So often you have to eat then drink or vice versa. Be great if we could have some perching tables. Not arsed about sitting down etc.

If Doncaster can operate a resale scheme and never fill their stadium, then surely we can. Sounds like the club don't want fans to be able to claw back some of the cost of a season ticket. The credit for selling is used against future cup tickets or shop merchandise, so the club wouldn't lose out anyway.

 

Isn’t it a bit different administering such a scheme when you have a small number of ST’s compared to 16,000+ in our case?
